A few days ago, I called Mercury insurance to inform them that I will have a new address Since my insurance was due in another month, I wanted to let them know of my new address Instead, they sent me a bill for $assuming that I had the vehicle at this new address They never asked me if I had fully moved, nor did they ask me if I was still or in the process of moving They were only interested in extorting as much money as they can out of me They ASSUMED information that was clearly in their favor When I got back to Richmond on 01/04/2017, I got TWO bills, one for the renewal$and the other for the new policy $ This is highway robbery,literally The basis of this complaint is that they were over zealous to get $they never bothered to ask what and why about my current situation These people are THIEVES
