I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.I have accepted the reduced amount for the bill submitted as I did months ago when I thought we had finalized our business and parted waysAs the company replied, the standard warranty was in effect so apparently that means you can expect other customers to bump your time slot even when your system is broken in the middle of winterIf you do business with this company I would recommend purchasing extra warranty coverage and a cheaper secondary heat source so you don't eat $in additional electric bill using space heat when they cancel on youAs I previously reported the bill was pretty accurate if their rate is around $125hr for their drive times in two trips beyond the near hours they spent hereNot sure why they decided to address that in the reply when that wasn't the issue, and of course it was a brand new heat exchanger!!! Carrier lost a class action lawsuit and likely wasn't going to send used ones they soaked in CLR cleaner to get the rust out after the plastic de-laminated off the steel and its not like Gibb ate the cost of the new part out of their pocketThey are still in the green from the sale and install in and barely lost off that profit by dropping to their cost on this ordealFunny that they found my billing info after the Revdex.com initially contacted them and they charged my card before we ever came to this settlementFair warning to others, I found out I was far from alone in my experience with this companyOnce again, not an issue with the work performed, but billing and dealing with their support staff can take months to resolve after a service callNot worth the headache anymore, will certainly be buying elsewhere when we add or replace any hvac equipment

First off, we are truely sorry this has happened and a computer generated finance charge certainly should not have gone out.  Since there was no extended warranty purchased, the standard warranty was in effect which includes 4 hours of labor and all parts.  The [redacted]s live in the...

outlying metro area so it took almost 7 hours to correct this issue and they now have a brand new heat exchanger.  In an effort to resolve the [redacted]'s complaint we waived all charges down to our actual cost.  We believe that is reasonable.
