Review: My wife and I have trusted [redacted] as our insurance agent for the better part of 6 to 7 years. We have been taken advantage of (financially) and feel others are enduring the same through the $$ practices of [redacted].We have been customers of [redacted] (also doing business as a [redacted] Insurance agent) while he's occupied 3 different locations and we have paid our monthly auto insurance premiums by personally going into the office, regardless of where he's moved.In discovering frequent late charges (monthly), this bothered me but I would simply pay them (to [redacted]) without further investigation although we'd always made it to the office prior to our due dates. Yet, once we started receiving calls/notices that our insurance was in danger of being cancelled (for non-payment) from [redacted] representatives, a thorough review of our payment history was initiated by my wife and I.Seems [redacted] has initiated the practice of posting our payment (late) while continuing to charge us late fees which we never should have incurred. We had to fax [redacted] representatives months of payment receipts revealing the date(s) and time(s) we visited [redacted]'s office (with our payment) to avoid cancellation.[redacted] easily tracked down our history payments/receipts (from [redacted]) and they (along with my wife and I) have attempted to contact him numerous times (by telephone), to no avail. I actually got a chance to speak to his employee about his practices but still, no return call.Seems to me [redacted] is (purposely) manipulating finances for his personal well-being while charging customers for late fees we never should have incurred. We have received routine notices of cancellation for the last year or so and [redacted] has informed us that payment from our agent ([redacted]) hasn't even been posted, as recently as today (2/13/15).We've learned the hard way: cut the middle man and pay [redacted] directly. Saddened by our trust (& finances) being abused & manipulated by [redacted].Desired Settlement: The only fair resolution which satisfies my wife and I would be refunding manipulated late fees (for every month) in which we were not late but were charged ($10 monthly) as if we were. We have secured our receipts as well as the aforementioned being easily accessible via [redacted]'s office or a [redacted] agent/representative.

MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:I apologize about not responding to [redacted]'s complaint, and the inflamatory remarks. I have been dealing with a major illness. Never the less, I am late in responding to his complaint. Most of his statements are totally false. He does not always pay his payments on time. There has been times he has not had enough money. He always wants to pay cash and we do not take cash, but an exception was made, cause he would not do his payment any other way. I have personally waited for him several times after hours so he could make his payment. Several times more than an hour. He has not paid any late fees and the ones that were due were waived. I personally spoke to [redacted] and asked him if he would go ACH for his payment. This would save him almost 20 dollars a month. He refused. [redacted] after that point had never contacted me, nor has his wife. The only contact was with an employee, and that day I was really sick, but the employee said everything was handled, and that [redacted] would make his payments through progressive from now on. I do not have any voicemails and caller id of numerous calls. For [redacted] to say we are purposely manipulating monies for my personal well being is totally false. It is too much of a hassel for us to take cash payments. We do not make any money off of a late fee. I am happy that [redacted] has decided to make his payments direct. In the future we will not accept any cash payment from [redacted]. I have always like [redacted], but I would never make accusations like he has about anyone or a business that are so outrageous. [redacted] had stated to me that several of his church members had became angry with him and his wife after they had boughten new vehicles. The church members wondered where they had gotten the money. So for him to make such outrageous claims and try to state our business practices are unethical to obtain $10.00 is totally ridiculous.[redacted]
