Robert Half

Three weeks ago I submitted an expense report for mileage reimbursement for a job assignment I was working. I submitted the miles and date through the timecard system that was used through the client I was working for and the temp agency, Robert Half. The client had approved my expenses and it has since been sitting in an approval status waiting for Robert Half to pay me what is owed. I've been in contact with various employees at Robert Half who keep giving me the run-around and making false promises. It wasn't until after the client I worked for got involved that I finally received what I thought was a resolution to this nightmare from Robert Half when they left me a voicemail last Friday saying that my expenses have been approved and I would receive payment early the following week. I never did and then someone entirely different through Robert Half reached out to me asking for my expense report. I screenshot what is in the approval status of the system and that wasn't enough for her. Which is frustrating because that system is set up through Robert Half! She explained that they were going to "over-ride" that system and issue me a payment by the end of this week. So I provided her with the information requested. It's the end of the week and still no payment received. I have since stopped working this assignment with the client because I can't afford to keep paying for expenses with traveling and parking if I'm not getting reimbursed for it. I've dealt with this company before in the past for various work assignments and have never been put through the ringer as I am now. I just want to be paid what is rightfully owed to me. I shouldn't have to go through all of these hoops to get it. People utilize temp agencies like this one because they're in need of a job and income. But what's the point of trusting Robert Half when they can't even pay their employees timely and correctly? Someone needs to put a stop to this unethical behavior.
