Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below First - for [redacted] to say that the work was satisfactory, with never any problems, leaks or workmanship issues is inaccurate After the roof was done in June we had heavy rains in the fall - there were leaks around the chimney into the house They sent someone out to take care of the problem on two separate occasions The third major rain we still had leaks in the house We paid for someone else to come out and fix the roof around the chimney area and take care of inside work in a cedar closet where the chimney is to replace the [redacted] that was ruined and have not had any problems since This was a workmanship issue and we paid to have that corrected since The front porch was to have the boards replaced prior to the roof being installed - a few of these were done, but not all We called him about this and he agreed that they should have been replaced and was going to talk to his foreman We also pointed out the nails that went through the shingles and the boards At the time we decided we would "live with it" since correcting the problem would have meant extensive work to redo roofing that was done This was all in after the roof was doneSecond - I have stressed in every letter sent that I have NEVER had any problems with leaks on the back porch roof for the years we lived here until he did the roof job When the roof was done in we had plans to enclose the underside of the bask porch area to have a more finished look for our deck and create an outdoor screened area We have never been able to do this and with the continual leaks that get worse every year we now have sheeting and support boards that is unsightly stains and waterlogged and rotting wood and we can't close this off I won't argue the point that you did respond to my calls and letters but it was never in hours In both and there were numerous phone calls and messages left and not until I sent a letter saying I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com did I hear from *** I won't argue the fact that you did replace the shingles with a rubber roof and it should have been at no charge - which you did You created a problem we did not have until you did our roof I won't argue that you put ice and water guard 6' up - you are the professional roofer so this was based on what you said needed to be done I won't argue the fact that I said do not call me - I got tired of excuses and only ask for this to be done the way it should have been in After dealing with workmanship issues for years now and have spent too much money fixing what wasn't done right I would like for [redacted] to have his crew come out and replace the ply [redacted] sheeting that is not any good - install a roof that does not leak and give me a guarantee that it will not leak again I can't close the case this year because it leaks in the winter - which is now done If I close out this case in June (or whenever it is that the work is done) what will happen next winter if there are leaks again Is this work going to be guaranteed again? I don't feel I should have to pay someone else to correct a problem that I paid a lot of money for once already Whatever needs to be done to guarantee that I won't have any more leaks again - that is what I want Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
First - for [redacted] to say that the work was satisfactory, with never any problems, leaks or workmanship issues is inaccurate.  After the roof was done in June 2011 we had heavy rains in the fall - there were leaks around the chimney into the house.  They sent someone out to take care of the problem on two separate occasions.  The third major rain we still had leaks in the house.  We paid for someone else to come out and fix the roof around the chimney area and take care of inside work in a cedar closet where the chimney is to replace the [redacted] that was ruined and have not had any problems since.  This was a workmanship issue and we paid to have that corrected since  The front porch was to have the boards replaced prior to the roof being installed - a few of these were done, but not all.  We called him about this and he agreed that they should have been replaced and was going to talk to his foreman.  We also pointed out the nails that went through the shingles and the boards.  At the time we decided we would "live with it" since correcting the problem would have meant extensive work to redo roofing that was done.  This was all in 2011 after the roof was done.Second - I have stressed in every letter sent that I have NEVER had any problems with leaks on the back porch roof for the 14 years we lived here until he did the roof job.  When the roof was done in 2011 we had plans to enclose the underside of the bask porch area to have a more finished look for our deck and create an outdoor screened area.  We have never been able to do this and with the continual leaks that get worse every year we now have sheeting and support boards that is unsightly stains and waterlogged and rotting wood and we can't close this off.  I won't argue the point that you did respond to my calls and letters but it was never in 24 hours.  In both 2012 and 2013 there were numerous phone calls and messages left and not until I sent a letter saying I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com did I hear from [redacted].  I won't argue the fact that you did replace the shingles with a rubber roof and it should have been at no charge - which you did.  You created a problem we did not have until you did our roof.  I won't argue that you put ice and water guard 6' up - you are the professional roofer so this was based on what you said needed to be done.  I won't argue the fact that I said do not call me - I got tired of excuses and only ask for this to be done the way it should have been in 2011.After dealing with workmanship issues for 3 years now and have spent too much money fixing what wasn't done right I would like for [redacted] to have his crew come out and replace the ply[redacted] sheeting that is not any good - install a roof that does not leak and give me a guarantee that it will not leak again.  I can't close the case this year because it leaks in the winter - which is now done.  If I close out this case in June (or whenever it is that the work is done) what will happen next winter if there are leaks again.  Is this work going to be guaranteed again?  I don't feel I should have to pay someone else to correct a problem that I paid a lot of money for once already.  Whatever needs to be done to guarantee that I won't have any more leaks again - that is what I want.
