Review: [redacted] failed to perform the work agreed on in the contract. Shortly after starting the contract, he took on a second (major commercial) project and our 2-month schedule slipped to 6 months. After 6 months he suggested that perhaps we should terminate the contract. We had paid for half the work, but far less than half the work had been completed. After agreeing to break the contract if he would give us a partial refund, we have heard no response from him.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of $1152 + $88. The $1152 has been explained in detail to [redacted] in an email (We paid for 50% of $7200, but estimate generously he only did 34% of the work). The additional $88 is because we'll have to file a second set of plans, and he explained (in an email) that it would not cost us extra to file bathroom separately due to his delays.
