I am responding to a complaint I received from you.Our return policy is days with a receipt If the customer has lost their receipt, we can attempt to locate the sale and re-print the receipt from our POS systemThis only works if the customer is an Ace Rewards member (free rewards
membership), or the transaction was paid with the custormer's credit cardIf we cannot locate the sale in our POS system and the item(s) in question have been sold from our store in the past days and we carry the item(s), then we will offer store credit.The item MrMartinez was returning was an eye boltIt d.idn't have any packaging or barcode that we could get our sku number fwmWe attempted to match the item up to the eye bolts we carryWe matched it to a eye bolt that closely matched MrMartinez's itemMrMartinez had s id that he purchasedthe eye bolt a few days prior in our storeUnfortunately that item was not sold at our store in the past days.I hope this clears up any confusionSincerely,Jim R*** Owner

I am disputing the response for factual inaccurrcy. In the business response, they state " we attempted to match the item". This is not true. I was holding the eye bolt the whole time I was in the store. So how could they try to match it.Furthermore, they state " we can attempt to locate the sale or reprint the receipt from our POS system. This only works if the customer is an ACE Rewards member"I have transmitted a receipt from the business that shows I am a ACE rewards member who also gets a veteran discount. Therefore the business response is false and baseless.
