11 or 12 years ago, my brother , who lived in [redacted], replaced his vinyl siding and it looked great. When I needed my roof replaced, he reminded me that Roberts Contracting inc installed his siding and they do roofs. Best of all, Roberts was right here in Newburgh.

[redacted], the [redacted] gave me a detailed estimate. An estimate that was very clear and precise.. I hired Roberts after checking a few references. In the end, my roof came out great, Only took a day. Thank you [redacted] and his team

I am very pleased with my new windows. We called Roberts Contracting after being referred by a co-worker. A live person answered the phone and set up an appointment. [redacted], called to tell us he was running a few minutes late. [redacted] took inventory of our needs, Little things I didnt think of. protecting our carpet, the inside trim, insulating the frame, capping the outside, a lead paint lesson. I received a detailed written estimate on the spot. I told [redacted], I'm not the kind of person who makes a snap decision. He was good with that. After checking references and reviewing the Grand Estates Window, I gave the ok to start the contract. They told me, I would not hear back from them, until they had received the windows from the manufacturer. 2 weeks later, they called to set up an install date. I had 16 windows replaced. It only took a day and half to complete the project. Everything the estimator told me was correct. My windows came out great and I am extremely happy with [redacted]

Review: The company was contracted to replace the main roof and kitchen roof of my home. The small back porch roof was specifically excluded from the contract; they also agreed to make all necessary repairs to the soffits. When I came home, I discovered that they had not fixed the soffit holes. I called my contact and was promised that they would return for the repairs.

Several months later they still had not returned and I discovered that they had in fact re-shingled the porch roof, covering over the old drains. I now had no drains and with winter coming, ice was building on the steps. I emailed them with my specific complaints. Again I was promised that the soffit would be fixed and they offered to put in new drains as compensation for the roofing error. This was in November 2014.

In May, 2015 I contacted them about bidding on the porch replacement. They came for the estimate and again promised that soffit would be fixed and the drains installed. There was no further contact.

I had noticed frequent ponding of water on the porch, but thought that they had not sealed the roof because of my state intent to replace the porch. In November, the porch was replaced by a different contractor who examined the roof and indicated that it appeared that the flashing was not installed correctly. After observing the area during a heavy downpour I found that the water was coming down between the old clapboard and the later siding.

In December 2015, I wrote a letter itemizing the history and my concerns. I requested that, within 30 days, they respond in writing and contact me to schedule the promised work. The only contact I have had since was an answering machine message inviting me to call about their spring work deals.

As I indicated to them in my December letter, I am filing this complaint and have updated my [redacted] review of them.Desired Settlement: All I want is what I have been promised, the soffit repair and drains, and resolution of the leaking roof. Based on their promises, I did not include the porch roof when I had the remaining roof drains replaced and I doubt I can get anyone in now for a 5-6 foot section of drain. If they feel they can not justify the expense of traveling the ~45 miles to Saugerties (the reason given for not bidding the porch), then I would request compensation so that I can retain a more local company to do so.

We had Roberts Contracting build our deck in November 2013. I can tell you, it is the best investment we have made in long time. My family enjoyed the deck for months over the summer. Once we hired Roberts Contracting, they filed for the building permits and dealt with the inspections in a professional manner. The process went well without a problem. The crew was very professional. I would Recommend Roberts Contracting to build your new deck

Review: We paid $7,000 for a roof on a 1200 square foot home. The eves were extended to protect us better from water coming in. The electrical connection from the street to our home was cabled & hooked temporarily while they worked. They have never come back to hook up our electric wires since. They told us [redacted] needs to do it. [redacted] says that they need to do it. We have had well over a dozen conversations with this company. The last one yesterday 10/**/13 they told us to go hire an electrician. We cannot afford to do this and this has been going on for 2 years ! There is much more that I could add about the job done and level of service but I just want my electric connected to my home correctly. If we have a bad winter and we lose power we will be in deep trouble.Desired Settlement: Just finish the job correctly !

My father referred Roberts to us. Roberts did his roof in 1998. We had a reasonable roof estimate in just 3 days after our phone call. Our new GAF Roof was installed 2 weeks later. We did get 2 other estimates. Roberts was the middle estimate, but they came highly recommended by my father. Our roof came out great, love the color choice, and the clean up was fantactic. I would recommend them to all my friends. [redacted]

After 5 estimates from either overpriced or inexperienced Roofers, my neighbor told me to call Roberts. I don't know how I overlooked them. Their info is all over the web, I hired them on the spot. The roof came out great, Roberts upgraded my warranty, Next year I will call them for new windows
