*** and *** *** contacted our office on November 26, 2014, and scheduled an estimate appointment in December of Ms*** was present but *** was notShe showed our estimator, *** ***, an area of the basement with
cracking on part of the front and right wallsThe entire area couldn't be seen because there was cabinetry bolted to the foundation covering some cracksAlso, it was evident that there was tar applied to the walls in an unsuccessful attempt to fix the cracksOur estimator produced a bid of repair for ONLY the cracks that were visible and shown to the estimator at this appointmentAt that time, the owners decided not to accept the bid and we did not hear anything from them
Several months later, they called the estimator again and said they are preparing to sell the home and would like to go ahead with the original estimateMr*** met with Mr*** *** in March of 2015, at which time Mr*** signed a work order for the original estimate for the original cracksHe paid for the entire job in cash at that time
*** *** supervised and performed the work in AprilAfter this time, the StLouis area experienced heavy rainsMr*** called to say he was experiencing leakingMr*** went to the property and was shown leaking in areas that did not have cracks originally and was not covered in the work we performedAt that time (and to date as far as we know, the work our company did was not and is not leaking.) Mr*** told the owner that "although this wasn't work we originally did, I do have some sealant with me and can put that on there for you now for a temporary fix at no charge."
The basement was now empty as the owners had already vacated the property and more issues that were not evident during the initial inspection could be seenUpon inspection, Mr*** found a window well that was contributing to the water problemHe gave Mr*** a verbal estimate of what it would cost to fix this problemMr*** said he did not want to pay for any additional work
After additional heavy rains the property leaked againUpon request from the client, Mr*** went to inspect and found that our original contracted work was still holding but that the temporary sealant had leakedMr*** reapplied sealant but said that was all he could do without a new contract for additional work
Although the owner agreed that our original contracted work has never failed, he began expressing displeasure that as the waterproofing experts, we did not address all problemsWe explained to the client that 1) in an older home such as his, it is impossible to foresee all issues, 2) we were specifically asked to address crack repair only, and 3) the owners were unwilling during the initial estimate to remove structures that made it impossible to see all cracks
Nonetheless, Mr*** offered (after complaints from client) to go look at the property a third timeHowever, the client had already left town and would not work with our company to allow us to gain access to the property
From this point on, the client continued to express concern that we would not address work that he not contracted for or paid forAt one point, he began to accuse us of racial discrimination in that we sent a white estimator to make the sale and a black service provider to do the work and implied that this was some sort of racial bait and switchAt this point, the owners decided to have no further interaction with this clientThat is when we learned of this complaint with the Revdex.com

This customer has his information confused like many things. Roberts foundation and Crack Repair is a Waterproofing Company. It...

has never been involved in piering or building stabilization.
This customer dealt with Roberts Piering Systems, LLC.
We have had no communication with [redacted] in Many months. His last call was to complain about drywall cracks in front of his home. I told him that the repair we installed could not stop other parts of his house from Moving and is not covered as part of our repair. After our repair was completed he praised our workers and mention that the Richmond Heights Inspector also praised it. Shortly after we had severe rains that washed dirt away. Even though we don't warranty soil movement we sent a crew to redo the soil . He was again happy until the next rain. Once again we went back and re-compacted the soil with jack hammers, again not part of the agreement. He was happy once more. He also refused to pay for his part of his repair , in his contract he was aware of a depth clause. We well exceeded its limits . he refused to pay it We tried to work with him by reducing the cost in half. He has never paid this and because of non-payment their is no warranty. During our interaction with this customer he proceeded to complain about what seemed like most every person he comes into contact with., constantly threated legal action . Seems to be a miserable individual that just like controversy.
