Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.I appreciate *** *** response and agree with most of the information in the reply I would state that his work was never in question, as we have heard from several neighbors that he performed work on the home Based on *** Foundation Repair's evaluation of the area not previously worked on, we were inclined to receive multiple quotes/evaluations.The inquiry and expressed concern/complaint are focused on two main items: 1) the validity of the life-time warranty, and 2) the structural evaluation by a non-licensed engineerThe Warranty referenced the placement of the work, and reference a diagramHowever, the warranty was not accompanied by a diagram We did receive pictures of the work performed, but the documentation did not support itself Therefore, we requested for *** to dig, and replace the removed dirt, around the home to properly diagram where the piers were placed We did receive an updated warranty, but were still expecting more The selected engineer who gave approval for the structural soundness of the work is not, and was not at the time of evaluation, legally licensed by the state to perform such work This was due to having his license revoked and practicing without a license *** Foundation Repair had selected him to perform the structural evaluation, and stated the engineer had been used for several years on several projectsThis causes the concern that several other individuals received forged documentation for the work completed, and the work may or may not be completed up to code or structural requirements This does not provide confidence that the work was done to a proficient level, even if it was The request of having *** Foundation Repair hire a certified engineer to re-evaluate the performed work, came with objection We did receive an updated warranty from *** Repair, and appreciate the documentation but due to not having an engineer in good standing, or certified, we still feel that the work and warranty would be compromised. As stated previously, *** Foundation Repair was called to evaluate a new area not previously worked upon and the complaint is solely directed to the decision to have a non-licensed engineer certify the work that was performed, and having a warranty that references the engineers findings and non-documentation (illustration of home where piers were placed) of work completed. The only ask is to have *** Foundation Repair validate that their work was completed to the standards mandated by the governing agencies (i.e., have a certified engineer re-evaluate the work completed), and replace anything removed/obstructed during that process.
Regards,
*** ***

I know that you will most likely be hiring another foundation company to do the new repairs that we discussed when I was at your homeI know you are aware that you will need to hire a Registered Professional Texas Engineer to submit a scope of work and a report to the City of Dallas to get a permitI am offerring to pay half of the Engineers fee to inspect my work while they are thereIf you could inform them of this we can coordinate with them to inspect the work and submit approval of the work performed by my company Please let me know Respectfully - *** *** *** Foundation Repairs 682-333-

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.[redacted] has come out to assess my concerns with the foundation. At this time he has been unable to set a date for the repairs. Due to the fact that it took so long just to come look at the problems, I will not consider this resolved until repairs have been made.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.I purchased a home in which this company did foundation repairs on. There is a lifetime warranty on the work. I have paid to have the warranty transferred to me as the new owner. For a year now I have been trying to get [redacted] to warranty his work as my foundation is now failing. He has made empty promise after promise to come address the issues. After filing a complaint last year he finally came out to inspect and said he would schedule a repair date the following week. That never happened. The last contact I had with the company, they stated they wouldn't be able to come out until after the 1st of the year due to the holidays. Needless to say the beginning of the year has come and gone and they have not contacted me. I reached out to them and now there is no response at all.At this point it is apparent that the company has no intentions of coming out to warranty their work. I would like to get a refund of the price that was originally paid so that I can contact another company to do the repairs.
Revdex.comMESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:Please forgive the slight delay in the response as I just received the letter this past weekend. I have addressed the complaint with the homeowner prior by visiting the home to assess the complaint on October 15, 2015  when I performed a visual inspection. Since the beginning of 2016 we have had some erratic weather that has created some scheduling conflicts due to delays because of saturated soil moisture levels.I am not willing to refund  the repair cost. [redacted] did not pay for the initial repairs.I will honor the warranty and schedule a day and time to perform the repairs.I have contacted [redacted] today via e-mail to discuss the exact date to return correct the problems covered under the warranty and complete the repairs. (see letter below) I am looking at the latter part of June which will give the ground ample time to dry for optimal results and not create a scheduling conflict. Sincerely-
