Initial Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2016/04/22) */
Mrand Mrs*** were informed that if the porch were tore out that the brick inlay on the ledges would have to be remortered onto the new porch (Not by Farm & Home Concrete)There was discussion for multiple days about the porch and what
would need to be done if it was tore out, which they concluded was too much of a hassle
The porch is, of itself, its own entity, not to be part of the sidewalk as claimed by the *** The work done at the *** was stamped concrete with color addedNo two pieces are ever the same, nor do we claim them to look like the pictures the *** were referring to, pictures are used as a reference as concrete mix, colors, and base foundation change on every jobNo one on the job smoked and we do our best to collect all mess left when we leave a site, we also returned the next day and were never told we left a messWe treat it as our own home
The chunks of concrete that are missing were not missing when we spent another, multiple, hours at the *** the following day (after pouring their concrete) when we came to cut, hose, and sealThe chunks cannot be replaced without a complete repour of the sidewalk (the colors will not match, thus the *** will again be displeased with their product)In this case a complete repour would be unnecessary as the chunks can be easily disguided
The texts and calls have been practically nonstop from the *** since August They were informed that the cracks could not be fixed and yet they chose to slander the business on facebook and on our cell phonesThe "expansion" cuts are put in concrete so that "wear" occurs there and not elsewhere in the concreteThe TOPSOIL and the seed, purchased the same day, was given to the *** free of charge and done only because Mrs*** insisted that the dirt be brought in and used as landscapingWe were informed that the "landscaping stones" would be removed prior to the start of removal of the backstep, in effort to prevent them being brokenAs far as the machinery and rutting, we are a concrete company who subcontracts the landscaping portion of the jobsIf there was issue with rutting she should have talked to our landscaping contractor
Tearing out the job in its entirety is unnecessary, and fixing the chunked portions is costly and the colors will not match the rest of the pour itself, as stated aboveThe landscaping issues were never included in a bid, therefore, anything costly was not considered, such as screened soilWe purchased bags of grass seed, again the *** were not charged for this, and spread one and a half bags on the ***'s yardWe have tried everything shy of tearing the sidewalks out to resolve this with the Baileys, we choose not to look at the issue in person because of *** ***'s hostility as displayed from the very beginning of this project
We informed *** *** (during her contact with ***) that she should landscape around the "chunks" of concrete, such as flowers, shrubs, etcAlso, during the contact with *** ***, nothing was said about the issues with the landscaping, except that she thought landscaping over the "chunks" would not be acceptableThat "throwing dirt on top of her sidewalk was not an option"
Conclusively, we have done all that we can do for the *** We did not leave a mess in our wake, and the yard issue was never brought to our attention until THIS complaintThe *** waited over a month on us, because *** was to be pulling the landscaping stones, she claims got brokeThe *** received the topsoil and grass seed, free of charge, only after badgering, as had been done since the beginning of the job, causing *** *** to pull his concrete forms once, and after *** *** requested *** come back and finish the jobOver the last seven months we have dealt with the *** and seeing as no offered solutions are adequate, I do not see an adequate solution being presented

I am responding to your letter pertaining to case #***We were contacted by *** *** *** *** on 11/8/to tecover and Impound a Ford E3SO box vanDue to the size of this vehicle, vehicle had to be taken to our alternate storage lot, which is not a secured lot, however
is monitored by serveillance camerasWe had vehicle in our possesion for days, when customer arrived to pick up vehicle we discovered vehicle had been broken intoCustomer had stated several items were missing from vehicle, misctools, speakers, and clothingWe advised customer to contact the blooming police department to make theft report before removing vehicle from storage lotAt that time customer and representative's of customer were being very bellltgerent and threatening towards employeesThey would also not allow us near vehicle to inpsect or take pictures of damage or inside of vehicle, At this point we were contacting the police department for assistance to resoJve this issue whether the customer was going to or notSince the time the vehicle was picked up I have spoken with the customer on three different occassions about missing items and damage to vehicleI have asked him on every occassion that whe spoke to provide me with proof ownership of said items that were missing from the vehicle.(purchase receipts, etcof ownership of items previous to vehicle being impounded) I am not questioning that the vehicle had been broken into during our time of possesion, I have not told him was not going to reimburse him for missing items or damage to vehicleI have also told him I would begin an insurance claim to help him replace and or repair vehicle and itemsThe only document he has provided to me is a computer generated list of misctools, clothing, parts, and repair costsNone of these items on his list are substantiated by any proof of previous ownership.(receipts) I don't feel that t am asking for anything any different than the insurance company would ask for to substantiate his claimMy Insurance company has already been contacted and made aware of the situation, they as well cannot proceed with a claim until information has been provided to usWe simply do not wish to pay for and/or replace items that were never in vehicleAt this point and time we feel claim cannot move forward due to customer's neglect to fulfill their obligation to provide proper information and feel that we are trying to be taken advantage of in this situationIf you have anymore questions regarding this claim feel free to contact me at anytimeThanks againKen P***(Owner)
