Good Afternoon, We have a very simple cancellation policy and we make sure no mistakes are made by employees in this areaIf someone calls to cancel, our response verbatim is “ sorry to hear that you need to cancel, we just need you to come into the club to do this.” If the member says “ i
cant come in, I moved or im busy,” we then say” you can send a certified letter to the club requesting the cancel” these are the only ways a cancellation can be madeWe would never and have never just cancelled a membership over the phoneOur agreement clearly states the ways in which a cancellation can be made and we follow thatWe did not say for the member to bring a certified letter to the club, the member could send one to the club and it could get taken care of immediatelyThe member is saying they joined years ago and cancelled over the phone months after they joined? But was just checking in to multiple clubs year ago. Crunch Paramus looked up the member's accountLast check in was 7/1/at our Paramus location. Then checked in at the Staten Island location on 7/8/16. The membership in Paramus is currently active and last payment to the credit card was 10/6/for $26.67.Crunch Paramus will be canceling the membership and attached is a copy of the membership agreement. Its been resolved – we will cancel the collections process – they were frozen for three months and then it came off freeze and they were never charged cause the cc declined so we will remove from third party collections. Thank you
