I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted]I have to reject Mr. [redacted]'s resolution for the flowing reasons: Mr. [redacted] asked that we return the motor to him...why? He isn't going to repair it. He made that clear. My husband is disabled. He is awaiting a lung transplant and is on oxygen 24/7. Mr. [redacted] knows this so I find it ridiculous that he would even suggest it. We have had to bother the the neighbor once already to remove it from the boat. So, NO we are not going to bring him the motor. I didn't understand Mr. [redacted]'s last sentence in his response. It contained poor sentence structure and was unclear. The best I could tell...he wants to return the boat we used as trade-in and then get additional money. Again, the answer is NO. The transfer transaction has been done. The boat we paid for has been moved to a garage for the winter.  The initial purchase price was $2300...$1500 plus our boat. He gave us an $800 trade-in value for our boat. He changed the price the next day to $1500 plus our $800 boat and then added an additional $500. He made an asinine comment when I questioned him on that. "I have a wife that likes to eat, why do you want to argue about pennies". Mr. [redacted] failed address the damage he did to the lights on the trailer. We had just purchased an expensive set of submersible lights for the trailer. My husband spent hours trying to rewire that trailer. Mr. [redacted] crushed one of the tail lights on the trailer when he set the boat and trailer on the ground with a wheel missing. His helper told him that he was about to do it and he went ahead anyway. I think he needs to pay for a new set of lights. Also, Mr. [redacted] acted juvenile when we asked for the title. He said he didn't have it and again made a smart comment. I spoke with the agent in Frankfort that processed the title. He expedited it for me and it was mailed on September 9. My husband called again the third week of September and got another silly response. Mr. [redacted] said he didn't have it. He was unaware that I had spoken with the agent in Frankfort. I don't think that there is a resolution to this issue other than legal action. I am hesitant to involve his helper because she is actually very nice. But...she was present during every conversation pertaining to the boat and she also witnessed him damaging the lights. So, Mr. [redacted] can mail the title to me and call it even or I guess we will have to settle this another way. I don't want to deal with him anymore. that 90-year-old man is acting like a spoiled kid. My husband is dying and I was trying to do something nice for him by buying this boat to give him some fun in his final time. I just don't want to deal with Mr. [redacted] anymore. [redacted]

Regards,
[redacted] Mr. [redacted]'s response is not truthful. The old gas was drained and fresh gas was used. Mr. [redacted] flat refused to accompany us to Green River because he knew the boat wouldn't run properly. The day we pulled the boat to his business we had a flat about a half mile from his establishment. The same tire that he was supposed to have had fixed before purchase. He used his lift truck to pick up the boat and dropped the boat on the ground. When the boat fell, he broke a tail light and put a hole in the motor cover. He didn't even acknowledge what he did. Mr. [redacted] made  this comment the day we took the boat back to him and asked him to accompany us to the lake. "if you don't like the way it runs, take it to somebody else to get it fixed".  His "mechanic" was standing beside him and also heard him make that comment. Mr. [redacted] refuses to hand over the title now. He states that he hasn't received it. I think he is not telling the truth. I have called Frankfort twice and spoke with [redacted] in the boat registration division. [redacted] expedited the title for me and it was sent to Mr. [redacted] on September 9, 2015. My husband called to ask for our title and Mr. [redacted] asked him why he was worried about it and hung up on my husband. Mr. [redacted] is 90 years old and I think he should retire. We were warned about doing business with [redacted] Marine but chose to take a chance. We have replaced the motor. Refund of the boat is not an option. My husband has spent many, many hours working and upgrading the boat. Mr. [redacted] needs to put our title in the mail and be finished with this mess. I don't care to interact with him further. He cheated us and is acting like a spoiled child now.
