Robinson Appliance company has since replaced the initially purchased (damaged and in need of repair) refrigerator with a like model. So far, it is keeping everything cold and I have not yet had to discard the food due to the refrigerator not getting cold enough. This one gets nice and cold. It has some dents but I can live with that.

The sold me two lemons. Purchased a fridge and it didn't work, took 3 weeks to get a new fridge, 2nd fridge leaks because waterline done improperly, added too much freon and it smokes. Horrible customer service and refuses to give my money back.

Review: Two months after purchasing refridgerator it began to auto defrost but would stay that way for days then it turned into week. I have a 90 day warranty so I called company, owner say he'll send someone out buut never came. Week later I stopped by so they finally sent an worker out that day, he said he needed to order a part and he'll be back before week was over, never came. I went back to store and owner had nonchalant attitude said part was ordered and it'll get done. Two weeks later still no contact so I call again and told same story "we ordered the part and itll be in in a few days. I have newborn twins and two small children I have to run to market everyday just to buy meals cause I have nowhere to store meat and cant afford to buy another refridgerator.Desired Settlement: I wood just like it to be repaired or refunded.

Review: I bought a used washing machine and it has a 90 day warranty the washer leaked from day one they (robinson app.) did'nt address this for a whole month after repeated calls and trips to their place of business. After repeated talks to the owner of the store he sent a replacement that when I used it the same day it had the same thing wrong with it leaking and not ringing the water out of the clothes. Icalled them right back and told them what the trouble was and everytime they tell me the same thing someone will be out, NO ONE EVER COMES!!!!!!!! Ithink they are trying to wait until my warranty runs out, I bought the washing machine on 9-28-14. whenever I talk to anyone in the store they tell me the same thing, don't worry someone will be out and I sit and wait all day. I have to buy a new washing machine because I need to wash clothes for my granddaughter every week who has special needs and I can sometime use up to three sets of sheets a day and clothes also so I really need a washing machine that works so i'am going to have to buy another washing machine because this buiness refuses to stand-up to thier 90 day warranty.ICAN NO LONGER WAIT FOR THEM TO COME OUT AND FIX THIS I NEED A WASHING MACHINE ASAP.Desired Settlement: Since I have to buy another washing machine and they are the ones who did'nt live up to the contract and I have to spend more money to replace the machine I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

Review: I purchased a refurbished stainless steel, side by side, ice and water in the door refrigerator for Robinson"s Appliance with a 90 day warranty. Before I went to the store, I called to ask if the delivered outside of Philadelphia and they said yes. I purchased the refrigerator and they delivered and installed the new refrigerator, along with removing the old one. The next day, the water through the door stopped working. I called them was told the the water line was probably frozen and to press on the the lever for about a minute and that would clear the blockage and it worked. About 3 days later the same thing happened, only this time, pressing on the lever did not work. I called down and was told that the repair technician was not at the store, but that they would let him know and I would receive a call as to when he would come. After a few days of waiting for the call, I called the store, and was told again that I would receive a call from the technician. Well this went on for over a month. By this time the bad weather had set in, so they could not come out. After the weather settled, I continued to call, getting the same result. I got the impression that they did not take a woman seriously, so a male friend of mine down to the store with me and he spoke to them. They told him that they would be out to make the necessary repairs. They finally came out to look at it and told me that they did not have the part with them to fix it, but they would get the part and come back to fix it. Well they never showed. I had my male friend call' still no repairs. I did some research and found out the name of the business owner, Carl A[redacted]. When I called the next time I ask to speak to the owner by name, and was told that he was not there and that he was not the owner, but their tune changed when I told them that Mr. A[redacted] was the name on record at City Hall as to being the owner of the business, and then I told them if no one would come to repair the refrigerator I was going to file a complaint with the Revdex.com and if that did not work, I would take legal action against their business. Once again they said they would repair the refrigerator. During one of the numerous calls to them I also let them know that now the refrigerator does not cool, and I lost all of the food in my refrigerator. I was told that my warranty had expired. My reply was that my warranty was never honored because they never made the initial repair, Whatever was wrong with it in the first place could have caused these other problems, or if they had taken the refrigerator apart like they said they had to, the other problems could have been discovered.

I live about 45 minutes away from their store and I think the problem is that they don't want to go that distance, however, they knew where I lived even before I came to the store. They knew where I lived when I made the purchase and they knew where I lived when they delivered the refrigerator. I they did not want to travel that distance to honor their warranty, they should have never sold me the refrigerator.Desired Settlement: I want my refrigerator checked out and fully repaired. If that is not possible, I want a comparable replacement; same color, size and features.

Review: on 2/5/2013 a refrigerator was purchased from this company with a 90 day warranty. within 2 weeks the ice maker stop working. I called and called over the next 6 weeks speaking with the owner and numerous other employees until finally 3/26/2013 technician came to check out the fridge. He says "it's your ice-maker" so, I ask him what happens now? ** reply "I need to tell the owner and have him order the part". And I ask what then? Tech reply " When I have it in my hand you'll have it". I have called them almost every weekday until near the end of June 2013. More than 40 times I've called over this problem. I 'm disabled and not able to carry any weight at that time. I also sent at least 2 certified letters to which there was no response. So, I got Sear's to fix it at the cost $169.60 on 6/04/2013. Come to find the ice-maker wasn't the problem, it was a clogged line. So,it was also misdiagnosed. At this point I need the repair cost refund, plus the cost of the certified letters for a total of $176.90. All of my calls and letters have been ignored.Desired Settlement: I want my $176.90 cash back

Review: I purchased a refrigerator from Robinsons Appliances on 9-10-13 that came with a 90 day warranty. I began having problems with it 3 weeks after the purchase. A repairman finally came and said they would bring me a different refrigerator. Today is 11-30-13 I have not heard from them and I had to purchase a new refrigerator. The old one is still under warranty. I made several phone calls and visits to the establishment and kept getting the runaround. Robinsons Appliances does not honor their 90 day warranties.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for new refrigerator. Warning to other consumers.
