The faucet was already repaired.  I did not damage any granite, I only tried to arrange the repair. with another contractor I know.  If he did not co ntact the customer He may be to busy on vacation etc.  The customer did not suffer any loss due to service provided by my...

Company, on the contrary she was provided an outstanding price for an extremely difficult job and this complaint is , in our opinion invalid.  We recommend the customer google "granite counter top installation " for the contact info of a qualified repair tech to repair granite damage, which was not caused in any way by anything done by myself or Rob's Plumbing.  All I am guilty of is trying to provide toe name of the granite guy , which I am sorry I did and now regret

CF-As stated by the business.   "I warranty all of my work except for foreign objects in the pipes."

I am rejecting Rob Plumbing's response because I paid him to:
1. Clear my bathroom toilet, which he did but 5 days later I had the same problem, so he really didn't fix the clogged area/problem. When he came back a week later he was unable to clear the toilet at all. I then had another plumber come out who WAS able to clear the toilet which remained clear for over 6 months. Rob says he determined the pipe was collapsed but if it was collapsed then why were other plumbers able to clear the drain with lasting results.
2. Within days of this first occurrence I called Rob to come back to replace the seal/ring under my toilet that he unsealed when he removed the toilet but he NEVER returned my phone calls.
3. A few months ago I had a toilet that would not drain so Rob came out and was UNABLE to clear the toilet, a few days later I had another plumber come out who WAS able to clear the toilet.
4. My problem with Rob is that he has never been able to clear the clog and insists the reason is there is a collapsed pipe BUT then why are other plumbers able to fix the clog?
5. I want my money back because Rob insists he warrants his work but he has not been able to even clear the toilet to apply the warranty. I am not expecting anyone to work for free, I paid for Rob to clear the toilet and he was unable to do so when other plumbers have been able to.

Complaint: 10618699
I am rejecting this response because: Rob said that he would be done in six hours. He patched the pipe and at around 6 pm he said he was going to get a bag of concrete and never returned. I had already paid him $300 in cash. The next day after various attempts from me to contact him he replied and stated that he was doing repair some place else and that he would return to my home in the afternoon. I kept calling and apparently he did not liked it and curse at me on the phone. At that point I told him not to return to my home, that he was no longer welcome.
Regards,

Rob did a amazing job he was quick and hones. Most of the plumbers try to take advantage of you, which I have not seeing from him. The job he did and the price he asked for it was absolutely fair. I would recommend to ask him for an estimate before hiring another plumber.

response because:I want the $175 I paid Rob's Plumbing back because Rob was never been able to clear the clogged drain on either of the 2 occasions I had a clog. I had to resort to using another plumber who WAS able to clear the drain and was kept clear for over 6 months. Rob was never able to clear the drain, so why should I have to pay for non-service? He says he warrants his work but he was never even able to fix it in the first place.

The invoice clearly states that I will gladly come clear any stoppage which is not a foreign object. This includes such things as tampons collapsed pipes basically anything that does not eminate from a human body. I went over to the job, determined the pipe was collapsed due the fact that my snake which is 1/2 inch diameter would not pass through a 4 inch pipe. This constitutes a FOREIGN OBJECT and requires repair. Does this person truly expect me to come over and 1. locate the collapse at a cost of 300.00, 2. jackhammer the slab at a cost of 1000.00 repair the collapse at a cost of 1000.00 and put the concrete back and put down new flooring ? Get real. This home is not mine it is hers . I am a good plumber and for me to offer any kind of warranty is above and beyond....no other plumbing companies offer a warranty on drains. It is people \like this that ruin it for the rest of my customers, who will now not get the warranty, as It will no longer be offered by Rob's Plumbing due to unrealistic people like this who feel they can transfer their problems to others in this manner. Can I fix the pipe? sure, should I feel obligated to do it for free? No. Final response

I was paid 33 percent more than my asking price as a tip because this job took 8 hours instead of the two it should have because the sink was glued to the countertop and took extreme care and a great deal of time to unglue. The 33 percent overpay was an unsolicited tip because this customer saw the work and time involved.  I charged 250.00 for an all day job, I did not raise my price as I should have when the situation became obvious and was beyond the scope of the original work, and this job should have been billed at four times what it cost the customer.  However I stuck to the original bid and completed the work for an already incredibly low price.  The damage the customer speaks of was due to the glue and was no fault of mine.  When the countertops were installed there were some flaws in the granite sink cutout that the installer repaired by mixing some type of epoxy with some granite dust and packing the mixture into the chips made by his saw.  They were not caused by me.  I suggested the name of a countertop guy who MAY be able to redo a similar repair on the new basin, and I offered to pay for it out of the kindness of my heart.  Upon describing the issue to this person I thought might be able to do some sort of fix, He stated that he does not do that sort of thing and declined the job. I am not willing to pay any other company to don a repair which was not caused by me and could easily surpass the cost of the entire job.  That is unfair and the customer is not being reasonable. Regarding the gasket she makes reference to, I have been back to this job and the issue has been corrected .  If this customer would like to pursue the issue in a court of law I suggest she do so.

Review: Call R** to repair a slab leak in my home. He came over and look around and told me he be done in under six hours for $500. I agree to it. Thru out the day he was in and out of the j** site. At around 6 pm he handle me a bill and asked to be paid. The j** was not completed. I wrote him a check and the he asked if I could pay him cash. How much he needed me to pay him cash as a favor after he only bill me a low wage/ bill. And that he needed the cash for Mother's Day.I said I do not have that kind of money on me and that I would go to the bank and get half out for him. I have him $300. He then said that he was going to buy concrete and a valve and never returned it was around 7 pm. The next day I called and texted him and asked him when he was going to returned and he said that he was assisting another client at that point I said that he had told me that he would be done in under 6 hours the prior day and that I wanted him to finish today it had exceeded 24 hours already. He replied that he would come by sometime that afternoon. I continued asking for a time frame for him to come by. Apparently he got upset and started cursing at me on the phone and I said the we were done conducting business. After that he said that I still owe him $200 and that if in didn't pay him within twenty days that he would put a mechanics lien on my house.Desired Settlement: I want him to leave me alone and for the Revdex.com to put a stop on him from calling himself a legitimate business man. He is a con artist. By the way the work he did had to be redone because of the fix he did It leaked again and flooded the house.

Response:

As stated by the Business. We at Rob's Plumbing strive for 100 percent customer satisfaction. Regarding the customer complaint logged against Rob's Plumbing, our response is as follows: We had the slab leak repaired within six hours of the initial call. We saved the customer 250.00 because we do our own leak detection. Our price of 500.00 is less than half the going rate for slab leak repairs. The customer was upset that we could not fill the 12 inch diameter hole in the slab immediately, however it is standard practice to NOT immediately refill the concrete, and observe the repair area for 48 hours for additional leaks in the area. We told the customer this before doing any work. This customer called our office well over 100 times in 24 hours knowing the hole was to remain open. The customer paid one half the bill, and to date has not paid the remainder, instead accusing us of flooding his house-absurd because we did not and we certainly would have been sued by him if we had. We did nothing of the sort. We have been forced to file action in superior court to collect the money owed us.

Review: Failed to diagnose and the repair the leaking pipe correctly,(it was inspected by 4 licensed plumbers who all stated it was repaired incorrectly) I advanced him $200 for parts, I requested that he return $140. Rob repeatedly told me via text that he would refund the $140, but just kept getting the run around. On a second note, I found a item missing from my home, he claimed it was accidentally placed in his work bucket by his employee, thought the item was behind a closed door. It is my opinion that it was stolen, upon my notifying him he later did return the item.Desired Settlement: refund $140

Response:

This customer called Rob's Plumbing and contracted with us to locate and repair a leak from an unknown source which was causing water to puddle outside the home. Rob's Plumbing began troubleshooting and attempting repairs when the customer broke the contract and advised us not to return. The customer had paid 200.00 approximately 4 hours after work had begun for a regulator and some other minor parts which remained on the job in his possession. Our stance is as follows: The customer broke the contract 8 hours into the job, and owes us for the work done thus far. The money which was given to us for materials was used for that purpose and the customer retained those materials which were purchased by Rob's Plumbing for the customer. They were necessary for the work to proceed. They were retained by the customer. The customer wishes his money be refunded, which we are happy to do to the extent we are able as some of the material was used in troubleshooting and attempting to locate this leak. We are happy to forward the receipt for the materials or attempt to return what can be returned once we have secured possession of those materials. However, we cannot return what we do not have. Rob's Plumbing followed standard industry protocols and procedure in attempting to locate and repair this leak. The leak emerged many feet from its source, and was well hidden behind drywall and structural members. It could not be heard using sound amplification methods as it was not large enough to provide a sound signature. The customer broke the contract in the middle of the job, and owes us for 9 hours of troubleshooting. The total owed to us is 900.00. If the customer would like us to attempt to return any unused material we are happy to do so.

We used Robs plumbing and was not at all satisfied with the results of the work. He was never on time, did not complete work and we have to this day after 3months still having to call him and all we get is I will be there in an hour and then never show up. We have had to hire another plumber to fix the work that was never completed. The drain to our tub emptied out under the house, the copper plumbing he installed to the water heater leaks, the bathroom sink leaks. Still no answer or call back from him at all. Our washer emptied into the laundry sink, it was never installed correctly, it took three times to finally have this matter fix. Take the time to research his company and you will find all complaints with no satisfied customers.

Rob was a savior. I had a toilet clog, my kids decided to put everything they could touch down the toilet,I was stressed out especially since it was in the evening. I called him, half expecting that he was close for the day, but not only was he available but he came over in 15 Mins and fixed the problem.

Honesty he was a life saver, thank you so much rob

Review: Although Rob was always difficult to contact, he said he could do the job of replacing my sink. He worked at my house for 2-3 days and replaced my sink. In the process, some granite was damaged and a replacement part was needed. He told me the part should be in within 2 days and he would return to install it. He also told me that a person who knows granite would be calling me to repair the damage. That was almost a month ago. He does not answer his phone or the multiple texts I have sent him.Desired Settlement: I would like the part replaced and the granite repaired.

Review: I paid robs plumbing $175 to unclog a toilet/bathtub in September 2014 and Robs plumbing was not able to clear drain but the $175 contract said "clear all drains - lifetime wry on all drains except foreign objects". Rob told me the reason he could not unclog drain was probably due to a collapsed pipe which would require a camera to locate the damaged spot. Rob never came back with camera to finish the job and I was left with a clogged toilet. I ended up using another plumbing company which was able to clear the toilet/ bathtub last sept. I called rob back asking him to come back and reseal the toilet he lifted and he never returned my many calls. This past week my toilet clogged so I called rob because I had paid for "lifetime warranty" so he came out Saturday 4/18 and left some dirty equip in my tub stating he would be back with a longer snake. He promised to come back Sunday but never came back. Today is Monday and I still have a clogged toilet with his equip in my bathroom and no communication from him since a promise to come back on Sunday I want my $175 back.Desired Settlement: I want the $175 back that I paid him since he has twice not been able to clear the drain.
