Robson Landscaping & Turf

We switched to Robson this year and have been very disappointed. We pay more than our prior service and our yard looks worse than ever. While you may think you have full service they basically cut the grass. While they have come to spray weeds our yard is filled with them. They also don't pick up anything in the beds. Basically a big riding lawn mower shows up and puts tracks through your yard. They think this mower can mulch sticks b/c they just run over them. I would look elsewhere.

My neighbors have Robson and while they were cleaning up their yard, they blew a bunch of leaves in my yard! So, of course, my neighbor's yard looks great. Mine, not so much. And they wouldn't clean them up…...

Review: I am a paying customer of the company. We asked the company to perform lawn annual aeration and overseeding. It was not done. After 4 phone calls, I finally received a call back from company telling me they would be out to the home to perform the service. I was promised they would be out by a date certain. 5 days after that date, still no show. No phone call. We have not asked for anything for free. Just want them to perform what they promised.Desired Settlement: Do the service we asked.

I appreciate your sending me response link. Simply put, this complaint is unfounded. It rained on the day the lawn was scheduled to be serviced, and it continued to rain heavily for the next five days, making it necessary to wait a few days until the soil was dry enough to handle our equipment without damaging the grounds. The customer called around 9 o'clock on the evening of Thursday, October 17, inquiring about the service, and the call was returned the next morning around 8:45 to the customer's cell phone. There was no answer, and a message was left for the customer, who did not call us back. A couple of hours later, we received the complaint notification from Revdex.com. Ironically, our crew was at the customer's residence about to perform the work in question when the Revdex.com complaint came in. At this point, I directed the crew not to perform the work, and I tried to contact the customer once again. There was no answer.

Although it is true that a large volume of calls earlier in the season resulted in a delay of a few days for us to respond the customer's initial contact, we have otherwise been very prompt in our communication, as well as our service and did apologize for the inconvenience. The work in question would have been performed much earlier in the season had we not been waiting for the customer to do necessary preliminary work (in this case, using an herbicide to kill off the existing turf.) We always strive to achieve customer satisfaction by delivering top-quality work and prompt communication. Certain eventualities, such as inclement weather and customer cooperation occasionally prevent things from running as smoothly as we would like. Normally, I would try to work with the customer in order to preserve the business relationship. However, in this case, I feel it is best for us to stop service at this location and for the customer to contract another company to handle his lawn care needs.
