We are replying to a letter we received from the Revdex.com of Wisconsin regarding
a complaint from a customer of ours (complaint id ***) regarding high usage and no contact
Here is my reply The customer states that they received a bill for usage when their gas was shut off. First off I would like you to understand that in this case the meter is owned by the customer and we simply read the meters and bill them monthly. We have documented meter readings of every month I have also sent meter readers to the location twice since the contact to reconfirm the readings. I also scheduled for our service personnel to conduct a leak test of the property which they did and determined that there was no leak They did determine that the piping between the meter and the house was undersized and could leak to appliances not functioning as they were designed to do. The furnace also appeared to be burning “sooty” which leaves a small residue of soot on the inside of the heat exchanger and thus does not transfer heat through the furnace thus resulting in high usageAs noted before, all the equipment is customer-owned, we simply bill the customer for the reading noted on the customer’s meterAs far as high prices, most everyone knows this is one of the coldest winters long-term than has ever been recorded and with it comes high prices It is unfortunate that the customer did not or was not able to pre-purchase their propane and had to buy it at market price I am sorry that the customer is upset with my lack of contact after the initial contact but certain things had to be verified first In addition regarding my lack of contact with the customer you must understand that we have customers, and one of my drivers had pneumonia so I was filling in for him and putting in very long hours states are in a propane emergency and I am responsible for keeping gas in my customer’s tanks, managing my company and all the things that go with it. I also knew that any incorrect billing could certainly be corrected if we verified that it to be incorrect Her issue just wasn’t a priority compared to other people’s at the time I have spoken recently to her, explained to her my findings, and asked her what she would like me to do however she is so upset that I am unsure where this situation stands I will continue to wait for her response and possibly resolve this issue. However, it may be in hers or our best interest to not continue to do business in the future as she certainly believes that we have done something wrong (even though it is all her equipment) and does not trust us and to be honest was very irrational on the phone prior to her hanging up on me

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[redacted] states that the piping from the meter to the house is too small and that could be a reason why. But, the furnace was just replaced 3 weeks ago. We'll after the bill. If it was up to me I would not chose to do business with Roche a cri and especially [redacted] I have no choice. Everything that I stated to him he had an excuse for. Just like the fact that I have never seen actual usage, or the fact that he states there are multiple people at my house ( 2 people is not multiple). Numerous like 5 people that work with gas and have there own gas houses have said that the amount of gas being used is astronomically high. There is no way to fix it. Roche a cri will continue to rip off there customers and play games when questioned about it.
This "business" states on there website "You wont find a more friendly or professional propane provider; we guarantee it." Also "our customer service is second to none" I find these statements to be false and misleading because this company in no way has professional way of business. Because on november 2nd, 2012 I called this company to have propane filled in my propane tank I lease, I use propane for heat and hot water. And they told me they would be able to come out that following friday OR monday. and to leave $340.20 in the tanks lid. I agreed and waited for them to come. They were a (NO-SHOW) that friday. So for my safty I removed the money from the tank that saturday morning. So I waited for them to come collect the funds from me, by knocking on the door. So a few days passed and they didnt call or contact me. So I assumed they did not fill the tank. Then on October 10 I started to recive calls saying that there was a issue that there driver made a "mistake" and never collected the money. I not knowing they ever filled the tank. I Was cought off guard because I was not in town. So they decided to send someone to my house to drop off a notice that they would put a lock in my tank on 11-13-12 So me returning the 340 back to my bank account. did not have the cash on me to deliver to roche-a-cri. So today 11/13/12 I called them to make arrangement's to come in today to pay the $340.20. I was greeted on the phone by [redacted]'s wife. She was very rude on the phone. I told her that I could drop off 340.20 after work on the way home. She said NO that wont work. we will put a lock on the tank. But they will remove it after I pay. So I wouldt have heat basically until the 15th. I have 2 infant kids, and cannot go two days with no gas. So I said I will look into another company. At that point they got defensive. and she hung up on me. So at about 1:00 pm they arrive with police to remove the Whole 400 gallon tank. Then I called them and the [redacted] said some discriminating things-
