Roche's German Shepherds Reviews (2)

First I’d like to thank Roches's German Shepherds and Jeff and Rhonda personally for the wonderful gift of our new boy Maximus “Max,” All of your hard work and ethics have contributed to the excellent puppy that we haveHe is extremely smart and well socializedHe has an even temperament and gets along with everyone & every animal that he meetsHe’s both confident and curious In one week of having him in our home he has already learned to sit, stay, give paw and lie down Within our second week with our little guy he is already fully potty trained and rings a bell when he wants to go outAdding a new addition to our family isn’t something that I was just going to jump into I researched Roche’s as well as other breeders When I decided that this was the place for me, I had to be sure Rhonda and Jeff invited us to visit their home and meet their pups We made the ride from New York to Wisconsin and were thoroughly impressed Their home was absolutely beautiful and immaculate The pups had their own bright and cheery room and were already being socialized in the house, outside and with the rest of the pack I can now say that Rhonda and Jeff will be our lifelong friends They are truly kindhearted people who definitely love the breed and keep it the way it was meant to be One last note I’d like to mention is that they do not overbreed and they keep their senior dogs for their lifetime It was heartwarming to see their pack; from young pup’s to their seniors!
Love Always,

My husband and I were looking to buy a pure bread German shepherdThis is something my husband had wanted since he was a little boyHe had done tons of research and found Roches German shepherdsWe met with them, they were unbelivably nice, knew what they were talking about and had beautiful dogsGreat blood lines, no medical issuesWe fell in love with the puppies as soon as we saw themWe went on to purchase one, and picked her up as soon as she was readyEverything was great for the first 6-months then everything went completely down hillShe started getting sores all over her stomach, inner legs, and losing the fur around her big pointy earsWe took her to numerous vets all suggesting to change her food to a limited ingredientsWe gave her the bestNo table food, followed every ruleAfter that didn't work we were suggested to go see a dermatologist to try and figure out what she's allergic too since it wasn't foodTurns out she's allergic to grass, trees, mold, dust, everything you cannot eliminateHow do you tell your dog she can't roll around and play in the grass?? After talking to the dermatologist we decided to do what we could for her so we spent thousands of dollars for treatment and medicineNothing workedHer skin still gets irritated and she still gets outbreaksWe continued to give her the medicine that is recommended (until she dies) and just have to deal with itThe dermotologist said this is hereditary and to coincidence no other dog has any issuesThis last year we noticed her limping, favoring her back left legOf course we take her in, spend another $for X-rays to find out she already has arthritis and will most likely be getting hip dysphasia which was told to us she wouldn't getSo on top of allergy medication, we now have to give pain medicine to help her become comfortableI reached out to the breeders ( they always said to keep in touch and they would help any way possible) and they seemed like they genuinely caredThey asked me to get a copy of all her paperwork from all the vets and send it to them so they can take them to their vet and have them look over them and even offered to take her for a second opinionI said of course! They offered to come pick her up and take her themselvesI said I would like to come so that I can hear what they say for myselfI am not going to just let someone come take my dogI mail everything out, and I heard nothingAfter a month I look into it and they deleted me from their Facebook page, and changed their nameWe have spent so much money on our dog trying to get her the best possible treatmentWe are so upset not only because to a certain point you just can't spend that kind of money on your pet but because she doesn't deserve this type of lifeShe's an amazing dog, very loyal to us, absolutely loves our two boys and would do anything for usIt breaks my heart that she is uncomfortable and in painShe's now years oldWhen the vet looked at her about her leg problems she thought she was ?? To be honest it actually pisses me off that they are breeding dogs this wayIt's not fair to them or to anyone who has to go through what we did
