I tried to access this complaint twice after I first received the letterWhile trying to access the complaint on your website I received a message that I couldn't access the complaint but would be notified by email when it was fixedI never did receive an email, instead I received a second letter
I just want to make sure you know that I've been trying to respond but wasn't able to when I received the first letter.Regarding the complaintI photographed the wedding of the ***'s daughterAfter the wedding the mother of the bride (wife to ***) inquired about purchasing a small album with images from the weddingI gave her pricing and she responded that it was more than she wanted to spendI emailed her about an alternative to albums, our layflat booksShe said the price of the 5xbook was more along the lines of what she wanted to spend and so we got to work on itI did inform her that the pages are thinner than an album's pages, hence the price differenceI took longer than I like in designing it so I offered to give her an 8xbook instead of the 5xsized she paid forShe declinedI don't remember the exact timing but a little while after I shipped her the book I received a message from *** saying she wasn't satisfied with the quality of the book nor the size of the images on the pages and would be mailing it back to meShe shipped it to me without even giving me a chance to respondAfter I received the book (which had chocolate or something similar smeared on the cover) I emailed her saying that since aI had already put in the time designing the bookbshe wanted a lesser version of an album and cshe approved the layouts before I ordered the book I would not be giving them a full refundBecause of the overall delay in my ordering process I did offer a $refundI never did hear back from them until receiving the Revdex.com letterI've copied and pasted text from my last email correspondence below, it also contains information from previous emails including information about my books and her approval of the layouts.
