Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: As stated before, your employee told me there was hail damage to my roof in no uncertain terms and then he told the claims adjuster there was no hail damage Is there damage or not? He did not look at the roof itself You told me to appeal it with *** which I did There are your Homesite signs all around my neighborhood You told me *** is notorious for claim rejection You told me you do not chalk the damage but your employee stated otherwise.Homesite is running the numbers game with the insurance companies and stands to profit regardless of the "free" estimate

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:True there is no entry for gutter protection on signed contract But it is not true that no monies were received Contractor (who said they do the work for price on insurance itemization) invoiced $10,093.94: Roof Rplcmnt $8,056.00; Gutter/DS $2, Insurance Itemization Estimate $9,(incld gutter protection) Roof $6,458.48, Gutter/DS $1,153.16; Guard $2,194.33; Haul Debris $155.61.Response states I was very clearly informed they do not offer gutter protection of any kind in color I chose Subject of gutter protection was never brought up Had I been told the protection didn't come in color I selected, I would have chosen another since once installed you cannot see it and color would not be a big factor As gutter protection was never mentioned, I did not say I would research it on my own I expected it to be replaced with what was already there and damaged. It is said that I was still in possession of $3,for work not included in the scope by contractor who was paid $10, I received approximately $4,for work/items to be repaired/replaced other than that for roof, gutter/DS, protection guard Sales Associate also claims he was NOT PRIVY to claim report provided by insurance UNTIL AFTER he provided a price to do the job as specified by me The first thing I did was to present sales associate with insurance itemization We sat at my kitchen counter, reviewed line by line, and associate marked up copy during review The only time I was given a price was when he added costs from itemization and wrote $10,on contract

** ***:You initially contacted our office on 3/12/and invited us to your home on 3/13/to perform an inspection for hail damage to your home During that visit on 3/13/15, an inspection was completed and was determined there was hail damage to your home from the hail storm on 5/22/
At that time, you made the decision to call your homeowners insurance company and file a claim because of that damage During the initial inspection, or representative is only looking for damage related to the hail and is not the final say to determine insurance payment or not You then proceeded to call our office on 3/19/ and instructed our company that *** would be coming to your home on 3/31/between am and am to complete there inspection of your home We do our best to meet insurance companies, but it can be difficult if there is a hour window and not a definite time During that meeting, our function is to point out damage to *** and the final determination is made by *** based off of various factors HomeSite Remodeling has absolutely no control over ***'s decision on the damage to the home *** insurance did not agree with our damage assessment and apparently denied your claim I cannot speak for "*** ***" from *** insurance and can't explain there lack of communication after the inspection This complaint seems that it should be directed at *** Insurance and not HomeSite Remodeling We understand your frustration with this claim and I can assure you, our company would have preferred a different outcome as well We do our very best, AT NO CHARGE , to represent our customers and fight for there loss Our company has not accepted nor asked for any payment for our service You are not required to use our company for any future repairs and are under no obligation with HomeSite Remodeling at all

***:We have been trying to contact you now to resolve this problem I apologize you are having difficulties getting in touch with our company Please see attached signed contract by you for the work that was to be done on the home If there was an agreement with your insurance
company, we do not have anything in writing detailing any additional work In order to maintain a positive relationship with you our customer, we decided to repair the windows at no cost Unfortunately, we sent our crew out with the expectation that the work was done and it never was completed That was our mistake and we apologize for that We are still willing to complete the repairs and maintain a positive relationship with our customers Since the work was not on the original scope, there was not a paper trail for our company to make sure the work was completed

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  I was instructed by the Homesite Sales person to call my insurance company to receive a claim number from [redacted] and forward to your office in order to begin the process.  I was assured by your company there was hail damage and my claim would be approved for a new roof and any soft metal damage.  When I received the claim appointment, I called your off[redacted] and informed them of the time and date.  There was no mention of a three hour window and your sales rep stated implicitly he would be present 30 minutes prior to the appointment to chalk out the damage for [redacted], however he was more than 30 minutes late.  Your no charge estimate is because you stand to make millions from this particular claim.   Your employee NEVER went onto my roof during the estimate.   My question is:  Is there hail damage to my home or not?  According to [redacted],  your employee said to them there was not any hail damage when he told me there was most definitely hail damage.I have an issue with Home site and [redacted] and [redacted].  I am caught in the middle between these companies without any straight answers and damage to my home.
Regards,
[redacted]
