I would like to thank you for bringing this to my attentionWe always strive to make sure each guest has a great outcome with any experiences they have in our departmentsIn reading [redacted] 's statement, it looks like we could have done a better job at communicating with her in regards to used carsWe definitely do not hold used cars for anyone based on supply and demandBill Shields was the sales consultant and had been working with them to find the right vehicleThey came in on said vehicle but decided that it would not work for their budget and decided to leaveBill had followed up with them to see if they wanted to keep looking for another car and they stated they were still lookingWe did drop the price on that vehicle as well others due to age of the vehicle on our lot and they decided to come inThe day they decided to call Bill and come down we already had another sales consultant demoing the vehicle and that guest decided to purchase itWe have made [redacted] an offer that we would take an additional $off any other vehicle on our lotsThis is the same deal we offer to our employees that work here so my belief is that we are trying to make the situation right as that is what is most important to usI would be willing to go up to $total towards the purchase of another vehicle from us Mike

customer of Rochester Motor Cars. Both he and Rochester Motor Cars were being taken advantage of by a third party we hired under unique circumstances (out of state). Regardless, we value having a solid reputation and have decided that moving forward was more important than the principle of being “right”. I am pleased that Mr. [redacted] is content with the outcome, and am personally glad to have the matter behind us. It’s possibly the strangest set of circumstances I’ve ever been involved with in over 20 years in this business.
