In response to the complaint. Rock Building and Remodeling LLC was not involved with the repairs. Ken R[redacted] and Rich R[redacted] own this property under the company name Rock Associates LLC. The [redacted]'s rented this house from us for 2 years and 6 months. When they moved out they left the place a mess....

The kitchen was a disaster. The refrigerator was disgusting, the stove was filthy and the cabinets and counters were a mess. There was a hole in the hallway wall that needed to be patched and painted. They left a huge pile of rubbish on the edge of the lawn by the street which needed to be hauled away. ( 2 pick-up trucks full ). In the lease the renters were responsible for keeping the lawn mowed and the yard kept in a reasonably maintained state. The lawn was 2 feet long with sticks and debris all over. Mr. [redacted] admitted that his mower broke over a month before. We secured estimates for the repair work and took that amount off of the security deposit and returned the remaining portion. The total of the estimates was $875.00. This is a case of a tenant who decided to vacate and leave the mess behind. That is why we hold a security deposit to be able to pay for damages. The [redacted]'s are trying to " bad-name" my remodeling company Rock Building and Remodeling LLC which has serviced the local area for over 40 years with a stellar Revdex.com record as revenge to my using the security deposit for the repairs. They can't do that! If you need more information I have pictures and repair quotes for the damage. Thank You Ken R[redacted]
