Review: 2003 Honda Accord V6 model was recalled for Power Steering hose leak. The hose leaked onto many parts under the hood causing multiple areas for damage. The dealer acknowledged my requests and repaired the hose (under recall) partially degreased some areas that were affected with power steering fluid. Upon them fixing their recall, they ran the vehicle for quite some time according to the service attendant, ran fine. I picked the vehicle up after it was repaired, drove it to a nearby school to pick my daughter and her friend up, and went home, which is all within 1 mile of the dealership the work was performed on my vehicle. Up until I took my car into the dealership to have this work done, my car was performing normally and in a good condition. However, the following day, I drove to work which is within 2 miles of my home, my car began to show a rough idle and a rough drive. My check engine light immediately began blinking and the roughness continued. I immediately pulled into my work, shut the car off to notice a smoke fuming from my vehicle. I looked underneath and noticed a small flame near the engine of the vehicle and immediately ran for help. 911 had dispatched police officers and a fire engine to the vehicle. By the time the help had arrived, the fire had put itself out and nothing was left but smoke and the stench of something burning within the cabin of the vehicle. There was no noticable fire damage, however I have pictures of the grease left behind from my previous request to have it cleaned and when the tow company from the dealership picked up the vehicle to reinspect it, there is smoke fuming from the vehicle.Desired Settlement: I am seeking that the dealership repair my vehicle in the condition it was prior to having them damaging it. I want the power steering to not leak as part of the recall, all areas of the hood cleaned and in working order as it was prior to have been in their care. Within 24 hours of the vehicle being in their care the vehicle did not operate normally. The fault is of the dealership when they had the vehicle there was negligence to cleaning the vehicle properly and completely, also there was something that damaged the 6th cylinder ignition coil now giving me a 2600.00 problem that was caused by the recklessness of the tech or service personell who performed work on my vehicle while in the care of Honda Rock County. I am seeking that there are absolutely NO charges made to me for either towing, their own diagnosis which they are trying to charge me for them attempting their own work on the vehicle without my knowledge, then giving me a bill for over $100 when I had no idea on what work they were attempting to perform without my knowledge, signature, or awareness. If this cannot be met, I am seeking they total my vehicle out and payoff the loan or gap coverage of what is owed on the vehicle and payoff my loan that way with a market value and gap coverage.

My Husband and I have recently bought a new to us Toyota Highlander from Rock County Honda. Before buying the suv we had it looked over by a Master Diagnostic Toyota Technician. He had found the breaks were seized and in non working condition. I was reassured they would be fixed before the vehicle was delivered to us. Upon picking up the highlander, I asked to make sure they had been fixed and was told that the had been fixed. After having it looked at again that was not the case at all. I called the next day to tell them I would like them fixed. The salesman had said he would look at the service schedule and would promptly call me back. After 3 days of waiting I was fairly Un happy. I called the sales manager and the appointment was made very promptly. I had my appointment today October 1st 2014 and they had their 2 techs and both the service and sales manager look at my brakes. After its completion I was assured they are in working condition and no danger to drive with. Again after having a second opinion they in fact have not fixed my brakes or even get them to work. I am very upset considering it has now been almost a month of hassle with no results. So as of now, I will be paying $250-$350 out of my pockets for something that should have been done a while ago, By the dealership I bought my car from. That will give me the peace of mind and assurance I should have gotten in the first place.

Review: I went into Rock County Honda on Saturday, April 11. I test drove a 2010 Honda Insight and I wanted to get that car. I put down a $600 check for the car and the finance guy told me I didn't get approved. At this point I had already left the dealership, and he calls back to tell me that they did approve me for another car and I could get it if I put more money down. I didn't have the extra money and I expressed that. He took it upon himself to cash the check anyway as a "hold" even though I didn't know if I could ever get the car. My account went negative over the check because I didn't know it was being cashed. I called to get check back and they told me I needed proof. I sent them prove that the check had been cashed. They said they needed more proof or I would have to wait 10 business days. Everyday that I waited I was racking up more overdraft fees. Finally, Friday I talked to Tina who said I would have to bank call. I had the bank called and they confirmed that the check was cashed. She said she would mail the check Friday, she didn't mail it until Saturday. Then they mailed it to the wrong address and refused to help. I had to have my mom go to the old address and see if the check was in the mailbox. Luckily it was. At this point, it's Wednesday the 22nd and my account is negative over $500 dollars. My bank refuses to return the funds. I work about a hour away from my home. I had to miss work on Monday because I couldn't get there because I have no money. I haven't been able to eat lunch all week because I have no money. They have never once apologized or taken responsibility for they cashed the check on false pretenses. Now I don't have money for a new car or money for a rental so they are costing me more money than I originally put down on the car.Desired Settlement: I would like all the other draft fees returned and if they will not, I will be prepared to take legal action. What they did was unethical, and it cost me so much in the long run. She accused me of trying to get more money out of them when all I was trying to now have my account be a complete wreck so I can get to work everyday.
