I had a very bad experience with ROCK fitness gymI was a member with this company for one yearThroughout the year, they would always overcharge my account and send me bills stating that my account was past dueIn addition to this, they would charge me extra money for one thing after another without my permissionI never allowed this company to have access to my bank account because I would always pay with the debit card or check, however, they started withdrawing money from my account for the monthly rateAt the moment I didn't mind because it was more convenient for meHowever at the time of cancellation from the gym, which was when my membership expired they kept taking money from my account for two months after my cancellationThe contract and membership was made in person by me at the ROCK fitness and when I wanted to cancel the membership they told me I had to call another company called ABC Financial to cancelWell I called the company and they told me that I must send an email requesting cancellation in writing and that they would terminate the account immediatelyI did everything on my part but the company still charged me for another two monthsThis is not supposed to be happening to customersIn my opinion, this is theftThey are stealing money from people and they should be stoppedI will also file a police report for theft because I work very hard for my money and I don't appreciate businesses stealing it from meI really hope they give me a refund

I received a complaint via postal mail regarding [redacted].  I have reviewed her account and there are notes from member requesting to change her billing information 02/21/2012 04:03...

PM.  On 02/21/2012 a notice was sent to Mrs. [redacted] regarding her balance of $379.73 04:03PM
 
All memberships must be in good standing in order to cancel.  I hope this can help clarify whatever misunderstanding there may be.
