ID ***I have reviewed the complaint about my business from said clientI am responding to the client complaint and will be explaining that not all facts are true and have been fabricated. Said clients sister contacted me and ask me to perform services on her hairWe schedule a time and
day and then she message back and ask me if I could do her mothers hair when I did hersI agreedOn the day of the service she messaged me again and asked if I could do her sisters hair also at the same timeI agreed but told her it would take several hours to do all three of themClient with complaint waited while I did sister and mothers hair When it was said clients turn I explained to her that her hair was very dark and damaged, dry and brittle from previous services not performed by me(Her mother then spoke up and laughed as she said that she and the client were famous for over processing their hair.) I also explained to her that with any chemical service medication, health such as diabetes, thyroid or even pregnancy could effect the chemical processingShe had already heard me explain this to her mother and her sister and this would be the 3rd time she heard the risk. She showed me a picture of a girl who had approximately inch roots with the remaining of the hair blondeI explained to her that I would only be able to lift her dark brown/black hair safely to a lighter level but I would not be able to make her platinum blonde as she wanted She told me she understood that I could not get her platinum blonde but to proceed with the services. I performed the chemical service on her and as stated earlier with the client it was a chemical serviceHer hair did get as blonde as she wanted itI did at that time applied a toner with is usually recommend to tone down the brassy, orange and yellow hair that usually comes from lifting dark hair to become lighterBy applying toner to chemically processed hair it seals the cuticle in the hair and makes it smoother and healthier. In response to the client saying I never apologized is a lieI told her several times I was sorry that I could not get her hair lighter for her at this time It was to risky to redo the process to get her lighter since her hair was already fragile from previous chemical services in which I did not perform I as a professional never talk about another salon or their stylist as she stated I did. I did explain to her that is she came back after she had her baby that I would do her hair again for half priceShe said ok, never once did she tell me or make me believe that she was horrifiedShe paid me for her services with was priced at $(This price includes lightner, color, toner, haircut and labor.) I would like to add that the color lines I use are sulfate free, PPD free and low ammonia or ammonia freeThey are all organic so that do not damage the hair She also was purchasing a bottle of Paul Mitchell Platinum Blonde Shampoo that I recommendedI realized after she left that I did not charge her for itThe price for the shampoo was $I did not call her and tell her I just decided to not worry about itThat was the professional way to look at it. The client then messaged me the next day and told me how unhappy she was with her hairI offered to have her come back to the salon and I would do it for freeShe then asked me for a full refundI told her that I would give her half of her money ($50) back but I had to figure my cost for the products used on her hair and for the shampoo that I never charged her for so I couldn’t give her a full refundI then offered to do her hair again for her for freeShe declinedShe stated she wanted a full refund The next day the client messaged me again and told me that if I gave her $back that she would forget this ever happened and never speak to me again. I then received a message from her sister who originally made the appointment with meShe was apologizing for the way her sister (said client) was actingThat she was hard to please. I had done all I could do to make her happy and she was declining my every attempt In retaliation she and her friends have slandered my name and Salon all over Facebook and on the Salon owner’s page as wellI blocked her and her friends who were posting negativity on Facebook She and her friends then started posted the same negative comments on the Salon owners pageI then messaged her and ask her to stop and she said she would let everyone know about her experience and stop others from coming to me. I know I have acted professional in all my servicesI would like for her stop all the negative comments and let this be a lesson learned in lifeIf she would have allowed me to work with her she could have saved herself a lot of money.I will be attaching all messages, text and negative post on Facebook slandering my name by her and her friendsOne of the message will show a picture of her hair in which she has part of it pulled up to the side to make it appear different than it would if all hair was laying downI will also attach the message from her sisterShe also called the Salon Owner a *** as you will see in the attached messageSo with all this being said I feel you will see who is being professional and who is acting childish. Thank you,*** ***Rock Pamper Scissors

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Myself being a customer, I'm baffled at how this salon provides customer service. I've never in my life have been so disrespected and blamed by a company for a bad result. Nothing that happened before my hair getting colored matters. It doesn't matter that my sister reached out to this salon to have our hair worked on or that we got it all done the same day. If it was too much to handle, the salon could've rejected me to come in that same day. This was my last chance to make myself feel a little better about myself before having my second child. I was 38 weeks pregnant and getting prepared to go into labor. I also had just purchased a house, so with that being said I probably shouldn't of been irresponsible and got my hair done, but for it to be very much so messed up and causing me to have to fork more money out to get fixed what it should've original been is not fair for me as the customer. It seems like this salon doesn't want to own up to any mistakes that were made. Any professional hair dresser could look at my hair and tell it was not suppose to look as it did. The only thing I have been trying to do from the beginning was try to get some kind of refund to put towards what I had to pay to get my damaged hair fixed. My hair looked 10times better before I entered the salon so for her to say how bad my hair looked before is very disrespectful. She never took before and after pictures, so of course so of course on her part she can say whatever she wants. It's very funny to me that my sister and mother got a before and after picture took, but when she dried and straightened my hair, she knew it was messed up and didn't bother taking a photo, I wouldn't show off bad work either. I couldn't even leave a review on her Facebook of my experience, which is what I thought business pages were for, bad and good experiences. I got blocked. And left a review on the owner of the salons page. Originally thinking I would get some kind of apology or understanding from the business owner but I couldn't even get that. I will attach her response to me. It's unacceptable. If my experience is this bad, why in the world wouldn't I tell my friends and people I'm close with not to go to this salon? My sister is very quiet and shy, she at first loved her hair that [redacted] performed. She even left a great review on her page that has now been deleted because when she straightened her hair, she discovered it wasn't even cut correctly, she had chunks of hair missing and my mothers hair was also messed up and she had to pay $240 to get hers fixed. So for this salon to only have me, one person complaining.. They are lucky that all three of us aren't trying to get their salon license took away. I have not been mean or called any names this whole entire time, I've been very nice as I was when I left the salon. I've had multiple people including my bank tell me I should've rejected to pay for the services at that time. She keeps saying something about a shampoo, but when she originally told my sister a price she said it would be $90 to do my hair, so when she told me $100 I thought that was with the shampoo included, I was definitely not trying to get over on some $13 shampoo... So to keep suggesting that I'm trying to get over on this salon is bizzare. I will attach all the documents of how unprofessional they truly have been. This has been a huge mess, and I'm not getting anywhere with my complaints about this buisness. All that keeps happening is their comebacks that I'm in the wrong and their right. So this will be my last and final complaint. They do not deserve to have a business if they do not know how to provide customer service.
