I recently had an opportunity to have Rock Solid Roofing replace a roof on a home I own in Colorado Springs Since I don't live there I had to rely on Revdex.com ratings of firms and their websites I was impressed with my initial telephone call to Rock Solid RoofingThe owner, [redacted] , promptly E-Mailed two proposals that were clear and concisely written, including web site information on material manufacturers [redacted] promptly replied to my questions regarding his proposals After the job was started, [redacted] kept me informed on progress with pictures [redacted] personally supervised the job which was completed in two days [redacted] was very professional in every aspect of our dealings Communication was great from start to finish I am extremely pleased with the job and would recommend Rock Solid Roofing without reservation

Because of the hail storm of April 2014, Rock Solid Roofing was referred to my by a good friend who was very happy with the work done by the company on his home When the owner of Solid Rock and I met, he had all the necessary paperwork, his license, insurance, etc, etc I found him to be professional and personable and trustworthy He said he could do the job in two days and in two days it was finished What impressed me was his own personal follon the work crew while they were working and his inspection after the job was completed He even replace all the air vents with nice looking ones which I did not expect.The workers cleaned up constantly putting the debris in a large truck and for doing a roofing job, for the most part the crew was pretty quiet I must say Solid Rock found a few more roofing needs that were missed by the insurance adjuster and after taking the necessary pictures to confirm with the insurance company, all was good I'm keeping their phone number in the event I may have to use Solid Rock again

I am sharing this review because I am just so happy and impressed with this company. I have used them twice now and both times have been a positive experience.

The first time I contacted them was because I had a tree fall on the lower part of our roof and had to have it replaced. Even though this was an insurance[redacted] was quick in responding and charged a fair price for his work. This was not a huge job for them but they were professional and they completed everything as expected, worked with the insurance company, and did a fantastic job at cleaning up after themselves.

The second time I called was at the beginning of the summer after the big spring hail. We had decided to do some calling around again to get some quotes and again [redacted] and Rock Solid provided the best value and workmanship we could ask for. What I was really impressed with was there were several other homes in our neighborhood that were getting roofs replaced. My house is downtown and most everyone on our street has the same type of steep 100 year old home. We watched as the house across the street from us took almost seven days to complete and there was quite a bit of mess and noise in the meanwhile. [redacted] told us our roof would only take two days to complete. I was not sure I believed him. But sure enough when they came out they had the rood stripped down in a day and the new roof put up in another. I was pretty impressed. Everything came out beautifully and I am very pleased with the results.

I could not more highly recommend this company. Whether it is an insurance claim or not you would remiss not call and get a quote. Chances are you will find that they are one of the best deals in town and the most easy to work with.

I can't think of a better experience I've had with a contractor for anything at all having to do with our house. [redacted] walked me through the process of what to expect from his roofing company and ALSO what to expect from our insurance company. (I was intimidated by the thought of dealing with the paperwork, filling out forms and all, and he helped me see how to take it one manageable step at a time.)

He gave me choices -- with the pros and cons of different weights of tile and what might be the best timing for the job -- and suggestions about how best to deal with the trim for longevity as well as a good look for where the roof met the walls. The prices were reasonable, and the service was simply the best I've had for ANYthing.

As an example, here's an email I got from our neighbor, who is now a fan of Rock Solid Roofing from nothing other than living next door to the roofing process: "We just wanted to let you know that your roofer was great after one of the nails from the roof punctured a tire. We had it fixed at no cost, but he sent us a gift card for our trouble anyway. Definitely someone you could recommend, at least in terms of customer service."
That's from our neighbor, who hadn't even gotten the help I did on roofing, and didn't know all the other great stuff!
