Hello
My name is [redacted] and I am husband to the owner of the newly formed Fort Collins business,...

'Rock-Star Nail-Designs' (www.RockStarNailDesigns.com). I speak on behalf of my wife because her English is somewhat limited when it comes to many things (she is a 2006 immigrant from Vietnam).
Sorry to be late in responding to this Revdex.com notice. We do not check our mailbox often. This Revdex.com letter suggested that “email & phone attempts were made to reach us” (but I am afraid their March 10 letter was first we ever heard of a problem). Anyway, my Revdex.com account administrator suggested that if our business wanted to offer my side of the story, it might help with closure.
First, we wish to apologize to the customer, [redacted]. She visited us during the very first few weeks of our grand-opening. Of course, we don't want ANY customer leave unhappy. But, at the time of [redacted]'s return (to complain), she was politely asked to call or visit us during the weekends, when I (manager) was around. I never heard back from [redacted] yet, she jumped to file this report with the Revdex.com.
I read in the complaint how [redacted] was expecting her nail-job to last two weeks. My wife mentioned this time-frame, in confidence, because normally, the lifespan of pedicure/manicure is usually about 2 weeks. Of course, this time-frame can vary according to the growth & health of each customer's nails. As an example, [redacted]'s manicure lasted almost the average time-frame & she was satisfied her for the first 10 days of the visit. Only 4 days before two weeks had passed, [redacted] returned to complain, with threats.
Anyhow, I wish I was there at the time of [redacted]'s complaint, but I was not. My wife (owner) is any excellent nail-tech but her limited English can sometimes be frustrating to hear (when she is stressed). This is why politely my wife asked the customer to reach me, later during weekends. My wife is only the nail-tech and not trained to deal with administrative fires like this. But now, I would like to make the matter right, If [redacted] would agree to come back to our salon and try us again, we will win her over! But, we will not agree to just refund [redacted] for the first visit. We are sorry.
FALSE CLAIMS: In this Revdex.com complaint, [redacted] states that she offered a $10 tip during the initial visit. The tip amount was actually only $1. Also, the customer states that my wife threatened to call the police if [redacted] did not leave. My wife never mentioned the police. Lastly, my wife wanted to mention that during the return to complain, [redacted] verbally threatened to shut our business down. We do not understand why [redacted] would refuse to reach me during weekends but still had the rage to threaten us and file a Revdex.com report. We feel that the customer handled matters poorly and that if they really wanted resolve, they could have reached me during weekends.
Perhaps Rock-Star Nail-Designs is not the best place for [redacted]. We regret this but, the customer has the right to go anywhere. As I said, if [redacted] wishes to schedule a new (paid) service with us, I will personally make sure she gets the royal treatment. I am so sorry that things elevated to this point (and embarrassed that the Revdex.com has to be involved).

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
The business owner did NOT give me the option to contact him, be it on weekends or at another time. The person who was involved in the dispute when police were mentioned was my fiance Josh, not me, [redacted]. I did tip $10, not $1, but at this point, the salon has made it evident that they do not want my business and it's been long enough since the incident that I shall just take my business elsewhere. There are enough factual errors in the report made by the business owner that it seems that resolution is not possible, especially since Josh was told that there was no owner, no manager, and no potential for resolution. Due to the fact that we were not given an option for direct resolution, which would certainly have been my preference, we had no opportunity to resolve the issue without Revdex.com involvement.
Regards,
[redacted]
