RockBrook Construction & Renovation

In January 2020 I contacted RockBrook Construction and Renovation to get an estimate on repairing small areas on two ceilings,installation of a light and wrapping four posts at my home. On January 17th the owner came to appraise the job. I received an invoice by email on January 21st quoting 982.30 for the projects to be done (including Azek wrap, drywall, labor and light installation). I made a down payment of 532.30 and the crew was to come February 8th. On the 6th *** cancelled and rescheduled for February 15th. On the 15th *** (I now know they are co-owners) showed up, worked for two hours and said they required (and received) the balance (450.00). They cut out a large hole in one ceiling, drywall was taped in (leaving irregular depths) and a thin coating of texturing slopped up. The tape shows all the way around, discoloring shows along two edges, ceiling dust (and texturing) is on the walls, stairs and carpeting.The 2nd ceiling was sanded partially down (again without covering furniture, walls, carpet) and texturing slopped up (again discoloring and irregular depths showing). When asked about the light, I was told their electrician would be in touch, to date, I have not heard from anyone. I was charged for Azek wraps but they arrived with less expensive wood-look planks. The posts were cut in half and removed (without authorization),(no supports put in place) they destroyed two brick pedestals and damaged the facade above. I was told they would come to repair the brick when the weather warmed. I sent several texts (on February 16 and 17) to *** asking when they would come repair the ceilings and finish the posts, I got no response. On February 18th I sent a last request; his response was "I am very busy"and "cannot just drop everything...because it is convenient for you guys". He went on to say,he would be busy the next three weeks as well. To date I have received no further correspondence from them. Their work was unprofessional and incomplete.
