This was not the case, with no alive human being available to answer a call, nor any automated system for a person to navigate through in order to find out where/when the car was towed A-Towing did not answer the phone at numbers, the one listed on the parking lot sign (###-###-####) and another found through internet searching (###-###-####) And how convenient a company who's sole existence to be predatory towards people does not have a website to access any information?! At the absolutely least, I would have obtained my vehicle Sunday evening (7/19) to avoid any further charge, is there video evidence that an attendant was even at the towing locations to answer any phone calls? Unlikely Classic stuff right there, brilliant actually, all of this Code 14.3-6: 'Immediately prior to a trespassing vehicle being removed or towed, notice of this action shall be given by the towing and recovery operator to the County Police.' Hello Mr [redacted] , At this time, we feel that a refund is not necessary [redacted] gives residents permits for the sole purpose of displaying them in the vehicle at ALL TIMES WHILE PARKED ON THE PROPERTYA-Towing does not have access to any of the records kept in a log book located in the management office.There are signs at the entrances to the property that state "Permit Parking, Towing at Owner's Expense." It is a serious allegation to state that we would enter your vehicle and relocate your permit with the sole purpose of towing it All of our drivers undergo a background screening through the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice and are licences to operate in the state as Tow Operators Our drivers take their job seriously and have families to provide for There is no way the any of our drivers would risk supporting their family over your $ Its just not worth it Attached are photos of your vehicle that show that there was not permit presentWe even go the extra mile and photograph the front seat areas to prove we checked the floor board areas just in case the permit slipped off the dashAt this time, we will not be issuing a refundIf you have any further questions, feel free to give a manager a call at ###-###-#### Thanks, A-Towing###-###-####
