Rockin Holidays Lighting Reviews (5)

We contracted with Rockin' Holiday Lighting on 11/23/to install our Holiday LightingWe were scheduled for the install at noon on 12/10/We followed up one week prior to confirm the install and were told the time and date were secure
On the morning of 12/10/we received a call explaining that they were running late
and would not arrive until 3pmThey never arrived nor called to cancel or reschedule
We have since called and left several messages with no response
Terrible customer serviceVB Carlsbad, CA

We have mixed feelings about this companyEven though their main product is to install holiday lighting they seem to also install "Infinity" patio cover structuresI always thought it odd that on their email correspondence they write "Happy Holidays"If you call the office they don't answer with a company name or person to whom answeredJust a unfriendly hello until they know who called and then she (Denise) becomes more friendlyTo be honest she is very rude on the phoneFranco the installer was polite at the house and did a good job installing the productBut we are unhappy with how they completed the projectThey gave us the bid to do the workRemove the old patio and construct a new one and install the "Infinity" coverThe bid was a bit on the high side we thought but went forward anywayThey wanted 50% right off from the start to start the orderThen required the balance to complete the production of the product before any work was doneWhen construction was complete and the cover installed Franco removed the old patio materials but left the large wooden crate in our drivewayWe were unable to open our garage door because of the crateWe called the company and asked why they didn't remove the crate when they left and they told us it was not part of their job and we would have to pay an additional $to have it removedIf they had included the removal fee in the original quote we wouldn't have a problemFranco has a huge truck and there was plenty of space to break down the crate and throw it into the back of the truck when he leftWe made a few calls to the office person, Denise and always got the cold shoulderThey refused to come hall away the crate unless we paid them $We would never recommend this company to any of our friendsWe contacted the "Infinity" company via email but never heard anything from them alsoAll in all a good product BUT horrible business practices

The owner Franco is an absolute pleasure to work with! His crew did an excellent job with the installation of the lights at our residence Our house is sure to stand out as one of the best looking on the block this holiday season

The Company came to my house about 1400 sq foot mobile home. They completed it within 2-3 hours. I was glad with what I recieved. I highly recomend them. I am planning on using them again this year. I really liked having the timer, knowing I do not have to unplug and plug in the lights. No reminders needed.

An extremely frustrating experience. I made initial installation appointment with [redacted] who said that they had a cancellation the day after Thanksgiving and that I was booked. After waiting over an hour day of appt., I called to see where installers were and was told by [redacted] that I was not confirmed. She remembered talking to me and apologized for the error. She called Franco, the owner, and he said that he could come the next day at 1pm. Again, a no show. I called Franco this time and he said he was running late and would be there shortly. He did not show up until 5:30 p.m. as we were heading out to a holiday party. So far, 2 days of waiting at home and no still no lights. Franco said he would come back the next day at 10am. He and his team did not show up until 2pm. Lights were hung and in several locations there were burnt out bulbs. The first night I woke up and noticed that the lights never went off (timer did not work). I called Franco to ask him to come by and check on timer and if it needed to be replaced. 2 weeks went by before flipping the photo sensor over. Each night I had to get up, go outside and shut off lights. Finally, after the holidays, Franco's team came by while we were out to take down lights. In the process, his team took our $150 wreath with them. I called Franco and he did return the wreath within the week. I paid $350 for Rockin' Holiday Lighting and feel that we did not receive value and adequate customer service but instead frustration and aggravation. I believe we are due a partial refund.
