My Driver watched the guy repair the leaking wheel seal and he did not fill the hub before he put it back on the axleThe driver witnessed him only filling up the axle with oil through the capAnother company that looked at it said that if this step was not done there would be little to no oil in the rear of the hub where the rear bearings areThe photo shows the rear race and it is bright purpleThe mechanic stated that it was ran dry due to bad mechanic workI also spoke to trailer manufacture who deal with these axles all the time and they said the mechanic who stated to stop and top off the axles every miles was wrong because that will overfill them (the second mechanic to say that was supposed to be filled up before being placed on the axle) The driver went miles stopped and then topped them off in the morning and went around miles and a hub blew off of the trailer causing the front axle tire to blow and dropping the rear spindle into the roadway trashing that side
