Review: This wedding venue left much to be desired from asking us to dead head flowers and not being ready for us to set up when we arrived, to not providing things promised such as water to grooms men among other things that were supposed to be in place, renting the wrong chairs which after complaining they did fix this, outside outlets not working and we were told we just wouldn't be able to use them but our friend fixed a bad gfi at no charge to them so they would work, the valet guys went through the food line and ate food we paid for to serve to our guests without our permission (I paid them to park cars not eat food), hired guys were supposed to empty trash and once asked to empty trash replied "which ones" they wouldn't even keep an eye on them and keep up on it as they filled up which was their job, wedding coordinator [redacted] couldn't be found and we had to knock on main house door to get her out there to do her job, photographer was not communicated with to go down to barn with bride and father for photos therefore he didn't go and we now don't have those photos since [redacted] the coordinator didn't make sure he understood that he would be back up to the venue before the processional started, bride and groom asked at one point for the speakers to be turned on so they could hear and were told by the coordinator, [redacted] that people complain when she turns them on at that side of the venue and wouldn't turn them on even though they asked her to, and last but not least waiting over 8 weeks to get a deposit returned and making numerous phone calls, leaving messages and never having a single call returned. When the deposit was finally returned being dinged $68.00 for a broken lid to a beverage container and never being told of this prior to the deposit being returned. We saw all 3 containers at the end of the evening know they weren't broken. I've sent a 4 page letter to the venue owners [redacted] and [redacted] and 2 weeks later still no response.Desired Settlement: We paid over $5,000 for the rental of this wedding venue. In the letter I sent complaining of all these things to the owners I requested a refund of $1,000.00 and asked for them to call me so we could discuss this. As of today October 19, 2012 I've had NO response from them.
