Customer did come in to our store. We took the phone in but we never opened the phone. We tested (QC) the phone before we begin the repair and we noticed that the home button did not work. When she came in We tried to confirm this with her before we started to work on... it. We also noticed that assertive touch was on which would only be on if the home button was not working. We tried to explain this to the customer but she would not let us talk and explain the situation. This is an Apple problem not RockIT Repairs as we never opened the phone.

Review: I brought my phone into RockIT Repairs 3/19/16 the phone had a cracked screen and missing home button. I paid $160 to have the phone repaired. Everything was fine with the phone until the week of April 18th. I noticed the home button on the [redacted] was starting to stick, then a friend pointed out that the actual glass screen was lifting from the metal/back part of the [redacted], eventually this led to the phones screen cracking! As I examined the phone I noticed the screws at the bottom of the [redacted] were missing, they had been there until I received my phone back from RockIT Repair. I called RockIT Repairs, I believe "Justin" answered the phone, in all my years of customer service I have never been treated with so much disrespect. I explained my situation and was told there was nothing they could, also how did he know that I didn't take the screws out myself. I told him that I would not have paid $160 if I was going to take the screws out, then proceeded to ask for a manager due to his attitude. I believe a John answered and again I explained my situation and how it hadn't even been a month and the phone was broken again! He told me it was against policy to fix phone without charging for at least the screen price and that he personally checked all phones before they left his shop. I was also told I could come back the following day and speak to 1 of 3 people about my issue. The problem is that if their phones were thoroughly checked how did my phone leave with missing screws. Two days after the conversation with the manager, the phones entire glass screen came off of the back of the phone and the LED screen completely stopped working. Not only were the screws on the outer part of the phone missing, screws that were supposed to hold the glass screen to the back on the inner part of the phone were missing as well. This company obviously had no legitimate warranty or policy for their services. Especially considering they fault their customers for their employee’s incompetence.Desired Settlement: I would like my phone completely repaired, if not repaired due to the condition the phone was given back to me in, then a complete replacement.

Review: RockIT Repairs, a cell phone repair shop, repaired my phone for a total of $140. I needed a new screen, as mine was shattered, on my [redacted]. I also needed a new front facing camera and a new speaker. I was told the screen replacment would only cost $120, but I was charged $125. I am not that upset about this, but after my screen shattered yet again (the screen was most likely a generic brand) only two weeks later, I called to get it replaced. I was told that my phone had a 30 day warranty on it. When I called to get it replaced, I was told that the warranty did not cover the consumers fault of cracking the screen. Then, I looked online to see if they had this warranty policy in writing. I was under the impression that with the "30 Day Warranty", everything was covered. RockIT Repairs provided deception to me by not telling me that the 30 day warranty was limited. I would not be upset about this if they had the Warranty availible online or in the store. However, they had neither availible in writing. Also, none of the forms I signed explained that I was aware of the 30 Day Warranty. This is extremely unproffessional and unacceptable to me. I feel very betrayed and decieved.Desired Settlement: To settle this dispute, I would like RockIT Repairs to replace my screen, for free parts and labor, as well as put the Warranty policy in writing on the website and in the store. I would also like them to let the consumer know that the Warranty is limited, and that they are using generic parts. In the future, I would hope that they have a "Warranty Contract" which lets the consumer know for a fact what the Warranty includes and excludes.
