Despite the Revdex.com's rating for Rockland, I initially found that the customer service left much to be desiredNonetheless, relying on the rating, I made an appt to have my plumbing issue addressed The technician (Joe) who was sent over was of the surly variety, but I found no harm in that as long as the work could be respectfully addressedUpon the technician entering my home, I inquired about boot-covers due to some flooding that had occurred; Joe vaguely acknowledged and proceeded to the basement to address the issue The technician was able to uncover the problem - which pleased me a great deal; however, as if I never mentioned it, he walked through my home without any boot-covers upon completing the job A couple of days later, the same issue resurfacedUnderstanding that more work may be required, I contacted the technician to reschedule a follow-upThe technician agreed, and set a time in the eveningAs the time grew near, I contacted the technician who then informed me that he would not be able to make it that nightWishing he had informed me sooner, I expressed I understood, and rescheduled againI also requested a quote for a larger task to be performed and expressed that it was somewhat of an emergency The next scheduled day of our appt, saw my daughter with a degree temperature - forcing me to call the technician WELL IN ADVANCE to inform him that I would not be available and would need to rescheduleHe expressed it was "no problem"However, after establishing the cost of the job, and mutually agreeing to have it performed, I have had no success in hearing back from the technician regarding the jobMy last attempt to correspond with the tech was March 25th I opted not to contact Rockland as I will not be doing any business with them at all anymorePersonally, I think that Revdex.com.org's "A+" rating for some companies take a little to much liberty in awarding merit based on the length of time the business has been opened, and how many times they've addressed concerns - which may not accurately detail the way in which a business treats its customers It seems to me that Rockland may be adept at plumbing, but in the area of customer service (which a "A+" business depends on) they need some re-education

I have found the plumbing company that I will use for all of my plumbing needs! I had a collapsed sewer pipe that needed to be replaced and Rockland Plumbing was the 3rd company I'd called for a quoteI was becoming a little leery about the plumbing industry because the first companies I contacted had very poor customer service skills, wasn't good at sticking to schedule and in my personal opinion was too expensiveThe third time was definitely the charm for meI was pleasantly surprised from my initial contact with Rocky from Rockland Plumbing and throughout our entire interactionsHe was friendly and informative from the on-set and also sensitive to my scheduleHe and his team identified the problem, showed me pictures of the broken pipe and gave me options on how we could go about fixing itHis pricing was lower than any of the other quotes I received and they completed this large undertaking in a dayThere were no surprises on the final bill and I can't be more satisfied with their service

I am rejecting this response because:We have had several correspondences requesting that the problem with the hot water be fixed. We have received nothing whenever he was contacted. Although the company that was used to complete the cosmetic portion of the job was sub contracted through Bill, this is not our main concern. We are without hot water and we have continued to reach out about this matter andbhebhas refused to rectify the issue.
Sincerely,

I highly recommend Rockland Plumbing for any plubing issues. Rocky is a professional and honest person. He's the person I use for any plumbing issues at my house.

I have found the plumbing company that I will use for all of my plumbing needs!

I had a collapsed sewer pipe that needed to be replaced and Rockland Plumbing was the 3rd company I'd called for a quote. I was becoming a little leery about the plumbing industry because the first 2 companies I contacted had very poor customer service skills, wasn't good at sticking to schedule and in my personal opinion was too expensive. The third time was definitely the charm for me. I was pleasantly surprised from my initial contact with Rocky from Rockland Plumbing and throughout our entire interactions. He was friendly and informative from the on-set and also sensitive to my schedule. He and his team identified the problem, showed me pictures of the broken pipe and gave me options on how we could go about fixing it. His pricing was lower than any of the other quotes I received and they completed this large undertaking in a day. There were no surprises on the final bill and I can't be more satisfied with their service.

I was referred to Rockland Plumbing & Sewer from my home warranty company. Only if I knew this would be by far the worst customer service experience ever. It started with the technician Zach who came to service our toilet which was not flushing properly. After his 1-2 assessments, he came to the conclusion that there was a malfunction with the toilet and that it needed to be replaced. He stated that there was clearly nothing done on our end and that he has encountered problems similar to this before where the toilets just malfunctioned. He even stated on our customer receipt that there was nothing in the toilet that could be causing it to malfunction. He attempted to contact the home warranty company to provide the diagnosis and schedule an appt for a replacement but was unable to get thru. He insured us that he would give them a call later and put the diagnosis order in the next business day. Grant it that he came out on saturday. For almost a week straight both the home warranty company and myself attempted to contact both the plumbers personal number and the company and was unable to get in touch with anyone who could assist us. I left numerous voicemails after voicemails and still no response. So here we are left in the house for an entire week without a working toilet and a open hole in the floor because he decided to remove the toilet from the base. Finally on Friday the home warranty people got a hold of the owner who was completely unaware of anything or the serviceman who completed the job ( guess he doesn't check vm or speak to his clerk). He got a hold of the technician who called hours later sounding guilty asking if he could come put the toilet back on. Not once did an apology of any sort come out of his mouth explaining why he had been avoiding our calls or failed to follow up on his part. In our conversation he stated he had no idea why they would not cover the toilet in the warranty. Grant it, when he serviced our toilet on Saturday he made no mentioning of calcium or any issue other than a general malfunctioning of the toilet after we asked 100 times. Now that his tail is probably on the line, he has informed the home warranty people that there was calcium build up which caused our toilet to malfunction so of course they can't repair it. I had a family friend who is a plumber stop by and laughed when I said the plumber attempted to use calcium build up as his "reasoning". Due to my warranty, I have to use one of their preapproved companies to repair anything. l'be already requested a 3rd opinion from a more professional company whom I have worked with before. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. This is definitely a company that dropped the ball and now the plumber is trying to just cover his tracks and perhaps wipe this claim underneath the wrong.

To home it may concern,  customer had damaged sewer pipes under the concrete floor in the basement and we replaced all them to remove the damaged clay sewer tiles. we gave the customer a fair price to do that and the job is complete. If the customer hired someone to do carpentry work or...

any work other than the sewer line. that is between the customer and that contractor. Customer can call me direct at [redacted] if he would like us to replace the cartridge for the Faucet, other than that I don’t know what else to do to help him. Thank you.

Despite the Revdex.com's rating for Rockland, I initially found that the customer service left much to be desired. Nonetheless, relying on the rating, I made an appt to have my plumbing issue addressed.
The technician (Joe) who was sent over was of the surly variety, but I found no harm in that as long as the work could be respectfully addressed. Upon the technician entering my home, I inquired about boot-covers due to some flooding that had occurred; Joe vaguely acknowledged and proceeded to the basement to address the issue.
The technician was able to uncover the problem - which pleased me a great deal; however, as if I never mentioned it, he walked through my home without any boot-covers upon completing the job.
A couple of days later, the same issue resurfaced. Understanding that more work may be required, I contacted the technician to reschedule a follow-up. The technician agreed, and set a time in the evening. As the time grew near, I contacted the technician who then informed me that he would not be able to make it that night. Wishing he had informed me sooner, I expressed I understood, and rescheduled again. I also requested a quote for a larger task to be performed and expressed that it was somewhat of an emergency.
The next scheduled day of our appt, saw my daughter with a 102 degree temperature - forcing me to call the technician WELL IN ADVANCE to inform him that I would not be available and would need to reschedule. He expressed it was "no problem". However, after establishing the cost of the job, and mutually agreeing to have it performed, I have had no success in hearing back from the technician regarding the job. My last attempt to correspond with the tech was March 25th.
I opted not to contact Rockland as I will not be doing any business with them at all anymore. Personally, I think that Revdex.com.org's "A+" rating for some companies take a little to much liberty in awarding merit based on the length of time the business has been opened, and how many times they've addressed concerns - which may not accurately detail the way in which a business treats its customers.
It seems to me that Rockland may be adept at plumbing, but in the area of customer service (which a "A+" business depends on) they need some re-education.

I had Rockland out to my home today to complete a repair that another Company attempted a week before and were unable to do.
The Technician who came out was very patient and professional and did succeed to repair my clogged pipes.
I was very satisfied and will definitely call them again when needed.
