Review: I moved out of my apartment at [redacted]. in Long Island City on April [redacted]. The apartment was professionally cleaned with no reasons to withhold the security deposit. I called the organization several times, and was told that my security deposit, in the full amount, had been sent on June [redacted]. However, I never received the check. I have called repeatedly and requested that the check be reissued and sent, but I have received no correspondence or response. I have, in the meantime, received a check for prorated refund of my rent, so clearly the organization has my correct address. I would like to receive my security deposit, in full, as soon as possible.Desired Settlement: Return of full security deposit.

Our records indicate that on June [redacted] a refund of the security deposit was mailed to [redacted]. On July [redacted] via email [redacted] notified Leasing Specialist Kamilka S[redacted] that she did not receive her security deposit refund. We have notified the bank to verify that the check was not cashed and have requested that a stop payment be placed on the check and a new check be reissued. We are currently waiting for the bank to resend a new check.
