RockSolid Custom Concrete Reviews (3)

*** has completed the repair. His work looks great, plus he took time out to demonstrate the proper way of maintaining the counter tops along with a demonstration on how to maintain the shower he installed. Additionally, *** is going to supply a care and maintenance kit for the
concrete counter tops so that we can keep them looking like he just finished them. A very nice man, and takes a great deal of prided in his work. Part of the reason we had a problem initially was because of the amount of work he has at the moment. He is extremely busy and is doing some great work out at the Lake of the Ozarks...Keep him in mind if you have counter tops, flooring, etc...that you want done.***

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Foremost, the *** reside in St James, MO not Jamestown, MOAnd the comments that Ms*** is referencing that Mrs*** on the morning of 11/13/made, were to return our deposit personally -not through the mail--so that we could part ways amicably and if not, then they would have no other recourse than to contact the Revdex.com and make an Angie's List referral comment
I have attached two (2) Rock Solid Custom Concrete (RSCC) contractsThe first contract is for the kitchen floor with a total amount of $and clearly states that the balance is due upon completionThis contract is signed by both *** *** and *** ***The other RSCC contract is for the vertical drystack backsplash, countertops, and under mount sinkPlease note, again, this contract is signed by both partiesThis is the contract where *** *** annotated that a $down payment was made on October 27, for the materials which were set at $with a balance due upon completion of $When Mr*** contacted the *** via text on November 13, stating that he would return our deposit, it was presumed that it would be this $down paymentFurthermore, because RSCC had completed some work on our kitchen floor, we requested in writing on 11/13/that RSCC invoice us for the work already completed
In reference to the response to Revdex.com, RSCC contends that there was work completed away from the site that justifies their keeping the depositWe request that all work completed or supplies ordered for our project is returned to the *** if all money is being kept by RSCCAdditionally, we request that RSCC provide all pricing invoices with receipts of purchase (dated) that were part of our project
Finally, we are both personally offended by Mr*** when implying that he was "threatened" due to our Veterans statusWe are both extremely proud of the 20+ years that we served our country honorably and are aghast at his commentThen, once he informed us that he wished to return our deposit and within hour of the statement, a phone call from Ms*** informing us that Rock Solid intended to complete the work, was not really an option any longerHow can someone be so afraid of a client that he wished for them to move on to another contractor due to their military service and then within hour get over that fear?

*** *** contacted *** *** on the afternoon of Fri, Nov 13, Correspondence was sent back and forth between Miss *** and Mr*** *** continued to offer his services to Mrand Mrs*** via this correspondenceMr*** sent the ***s' final offer Dec 02, 2015, which stated they didn't agree with the amount of the invoice for the floor preparation, however were willing to accept the stain and sealer purchased for their floor, plus the receipts, and to give Mr*** his belongings backMr*** acceptance letter was sent Jan 13, 2016, stating he agreed to provide the ***s' with the items requested, along with written instructions on how to finish the flooring with those particular productsHe also requested that the ***s' provide him with a written statement that they would not seek further action, would not slander or otherwise negatively comment to others or on the internet in such a way that could impact his business poorly as Mrs*** had mentioned she would early morning on Nov 13, Mr*** also requested that the items left on the *** property be exchanged by someone other than the ***s' at a safe, neutral locationHe stated the ***s' could choose the date and location as long as he agreedMr*** did not find it feasible to return any portion of the down payment because his preparation work actually exceeded the amount paidUnfortunately, Mr*** received no response from *** Legal ServicesHowever, that same day, unbeknownst to *** *** until later that afternoon, Mrs*** sent an email stating they were not going to seek any further legal action against his company and offered him to come get his belongingsMr*** did not respond to this email based on the original request from her lawyer on Fri, Nov 13, to not have any further contact with his clients
Despite Mrs***'s most recent email, on Feb 08, 2016, the Revdex.com emailed RSCC in regards to a complaint she filed with themAfter going back through all of the correspondence, Mr*** contacted *** Legal Services Thur, Feb 26, 2016, in hopes to gain resolution to this matterHe was then informed by staff at that office that the ***s' were no longer represented by Mr*** and hadn't been since the second (2nd) or third (3rd) week of Jan
Mr*** still stands by his words in the letter sent Jan 13, He still maintains the idea of resolving this issue and, again, is more than willing to provide the ***s' with the items promised in that letterHe also expects his property be returned in the condition in which it was left and, if need be, seek legal action to obtain it
Thank you for your time,
