Review: I was one of this office patients along with my wife for 3 years , now I requested my record for 2011 and 1012 , I called couple times I was directed to go to the office in person , I went there on Friday 2/28/2014 the office was closed I called the number again , and again I was directed to go on Saturday because the are closed on Fridays so I ask this leady if I could have those records mailed to my address she refused and asked me to go in person. I went on Saturday 03/01/2014 and met with the leady who was doing the front desk and helping the dentist , she asked me to wait because she is busy I waited about 40 minutes ad then left my phone number and a note says please call me when you have those papers ready and I will be back at 1230 pm any way thank with my phone number .I did not receive any phone calls foe almost 1 hour and 3o min so I went back to the office the office was closed so I thought may be the went for lunch and the will be back in on hour or so otherwise they would have called me if they closed for the rest of the day I waited there for 2 hours no one came I kept calling and calling g never getting any answer and I need those papers on Tuesday 03/04/2014, am still calling hoping that somebody will answer it could be an emergency calls or at least they should have communed phone answers like all other doctors office

Review: On November 5th, 2013 I had an appointment with Rockville Family Dental located at [redacted] in Rockville, MD. It was my first appointment with this dentist and I had a little trouble locating the correct address. I found [redacted] which apparently is Rockville Family Dental Group. Thinking that perhaps I had the address wrong originally, I went into [redacted]. They asked if I had an appointment and I told them that I did. They took my license and insurance card and asked me to fill out some paperwork. I mentioned to them that my insurance company was supposed to send me a new card with Dr. [redacted]’s name on it since I called and had it switched from my other dentist sometime in October, but they had not done so yet. They nodded and went along with it and eventually took me in to do x-rays and consult with the dentist. The dentist told me all of the procedures that I would need done and said that he would run them by the insurance company first to make sure that they would pay for them. Then I would get a call back within a month to schedule appointments to get the procedures done.

When I got back to my job I received a phone call from Rockville Family Dental asking why I had not shown up for my appointment. I explained that I was just there and eventually we were able to put together what had happened. The person at Rockville Family Dental mentioned that this was not the first time that Rockville Family Dental Group had taken a patient that had an appointment with Rockville Family Dental and had mistakenly walked into their office.

I am extremely upset that I would be taken advantage of in this way and I in no way intend to pay for Rockville Family Dental Group’s shady practices. I obviously did not have an appointment with them and I am sure that they were aware of that. I also mentioned Dr. [redacted]’s name, the dentist that I was supposed to see, who obviously did not work there, and they just nodded like everything was normal.

I have called Rockville Family Dental Group on several occasions to try and resolve this issue. I was first told by a woman named Michelle that I would get a call back the next day from a woman named [redacted] in billing. When [redacted] did not call within the next few days I tried again and was told that [redacted] no longer works there and that I would need to get in touch with [redacted]. I was given [redacted]'s phone number and I left her a message. I tried her a few more times and never heard back from her.

I recently received a notice from my insurance company that they received a bill and they cannot pay for it. I want to be sure that I do not end up having to pay as well.Desired Settlement: I do not want to be charged for this.

On November 5, 2013 **. [redacted] (aka: [redacted]) came into Rockville Family Dental Group located at [redacted], Rockville, MD for dental treatment. I introduce myself to him by name and status. Treatment was done to patient satisfaction. After **. [redacted] was billed for treatment, he reply stating that Rockville Family Dental Group was not the office he planed to have dental treatment.

I am rejecting this response because: Dr. [redacted] did not address the real issue here. I was asked if I had an appointment and I said "yes". They must have known that they did not have a 3pm appointment with anyone named [redacted]. They also did not raise any eyebrows when I mentioned Dr. [redacted]'s name specifically. And, contrary to Dr. [redacted]'s claim, I raised this issue immediately with Rockville Family Dental Group. I called that night when I was informed that I went to the wrong office. Since they were closed I was redirected to their [redacted] office. Rockville Family Dental, the dentist that I was supposed to see, contacted Rockville Family Dental Group the next day as well. An incident report was filed with my insurance company the next day as well.

I continually tried to contact Rockville Family Dental Group and was constantly given the run around. First I was supposed to get a callback from [redacted] which never came. When I called a few days later I was told that [redacted] does not work there anymore and I need to speak with [redacted]. I left messages with [redacted] and to this day have not heard from her. As a matter of fact, no one from Rockville Family Dental Group has contacted me about this situation at all though I have made numerous phone calls to them.

And, I actually have not received the bill yet. So the claim that I complained after I was billed is completely false. I recently received a notification from my insurance company that they would not pay for what was billed to them. That is obviously expected, but this issue was raised way before I received that notification.
