written policy whereby lost cards can be obtained for a fee to the student. Mr*** admits that he was issued a card and lost it. He also admits that his card had a balance on it. What Mr*** is unwilling to accept are the costs of his actions. Unfortunately students can be irresponsible and have lost cards in the past; they were required to pay the cost for replacement. In all likelihood future students will also lose their cards, and they too will be held responsible for paying for a new card. This policy is neither unfair nor unhanded, it just places responsibility for ones actions where it should be.*** ***

It's obvious that the person who is responding to this complaint has not read the issue at hand, and its incapable of addressing the complainants concerns. Again, I never lost my card and it is not expressed in this policy she speaks of that if a card is inactive for a certain time then the card will need to be replaced and it is the responsibility of the student to pay for a replacement card. Yes, in the policy it does state that if the card is LOST not inactive then the students will be responsible for paying for a new card. Also, if this person responding did her research she would see that the fee has been waived by both [redacted], and Limestone. She would also contact [redacted] to inquire about my concerns so that their policy can be amended. My concerns are for future students who will go through this same issue if it's not explained in the policy. I await an apology from this person who I never spoke to regarding this issue.

First, regarding the need for a...
reapplication; according to the Limestone College catalog, when a student has been inactive for over 36 months they must reapply for admission to the College (that is on p. 19 of the current Limestone College catalog). It has been over 36 months from the time that the student was an active student so she must reapply for admission. Next, while the student did apparently register or take classes at [redacted] and [redacted] College since her original admission to Limestone (as reported by the [redacted]), none of those transcripts will be needed in order to evaluate her application for readmission. In regards to her high school transcript, when she originally applied to Limestone the high school transcript was not a requirement for all students and there is no high school transcript for her on file. Since the time of her original application the Federal government has developed regulations which require all colleges to obtain a high school transcript from all applicants, hence the need for her to submit one.
