I have been contacted by Rockwood Clinic about the issues.  I coordinated with Rockwood and my insurance company in an attempt to resolve the billing issue.  Neither party could explain why the issues occurred, but I was told it should be fixed within 24 hrs.  As for the issue with appointment scheduling, I was told the issue was being passed forward to a patient advocate to further investigate the issue.  The advocate contacted me and was going to contact the specific clinic in question to see where the issue is with scheduling.

I have read the complaint and have forwarded it to our Business Office to review and resolve.  This is the same complaint that was filed on 4/14/17 and I received notification from you that this complaint had been resolved satisfactorily and it was now closed.  I will wait to get a response from our business office.  Thank you. Cari A[redacted], RN, BSN / EWU Student Health Assistant at Rockwood Clinic investigated this complaint. She contacted [redacted], the patient about the issue. Mr. [redacted] stated his parents reported the complaint to the Revdex.com. She confirmed that he has NOT received any further statements from Cellnetix for $157.00. Nurse Cari did inform the patient she followed up with Cellnetix and he would receive a statement from Cellnetix showing a $0.00 balance. Nurse Cari apologized for the error and delay in receiving the statement. She encouraged Mr. [redacted] to contact her if he has questions or concerns in the future regarding EWU Student Health at 509-235-6151.
Please contact me if there is anything more I need to do to assist with closing this file. Due to HIPAA restrictions, we are not allowed to speak to Mr. [redacted]’s parents in regard to his account without his permission so the nurse contacted the patient. Thank you.
