I WISH THE ROCKWOOD VALLEY HOSPITAL BILLING OFFICE WOULD GIVE PEOPLE MORE THAN 4 MONTH'S TO PAY OFF THEIR BALANCE WITHOUT HAVING TO TAKE OUT A LOAN WHICH THEY SUGGEST; I'M A DISABLED VETERAN AND ALSO A SENIOR ON A FIXED INCOME AND IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN MY MONTHLY PAYMENT'S WEREN'T GOOD ENOUGH I WOULD HAVE GONE TO A NON-PROFIT HOSPITAL.
Review: I made an overpayment on my medical bill and was told that I would be reimbursed 32 days ago, shortly after the first time it was brought to the clinic's attention. Now, when I asked why it has taken so long, the response was that it would be resubmitted to the appropriate office.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for the overpayment of $37.94.

Our apologies for the delay on this refund request. We do show correspondence on the patient portal related to this issue. Office staff researched this further on 5/15/2013. Our finding is Ms. Braid is due a refund of $134.95 on her account, not the $ 37.94 she expected.
This amount is in the approval process and expected to be sent out 5/24/2013.

Rockwood in general needs to treat young people with chronic conditions a lot better. I've gone from receiving minimal care to now receiving no care. Not a good thing for a healthcare company to be putting its patients through
I recently went to the rockwood quail run clinic for a simple physical, I had to of course in order to get my meds refilled. Being a smoker of course the Dr. ask what I had tried to quit. I explained I had tried chantix and gum and other things. So now I get a separate bill for $ 57.00 after insurance, for tobacco counseling!!!!! Really?? Rip Offs. Ill never deal with this corporation or Dr. again.
Review: Originally, Rockwood Clinic on Sprague Ave. did not appropriately resolve my medical issue and due to their incompetence and lack of empathy, I am incurring unnecessary and exorbitant medical bills. I was experiencing a stomach ailment, and they did not care for me properly at the clinic initially.
Due to their incompetence, I had to drive myself to the hospital. This jeopardized my safety and the safety of others. They did not offer to assist me although I was in quite a bit of pain.Desired Settlement: I wish to only have to pay my initial medical bill which included a one time visit to the emergency room. I have been charged multiple times and this is unacceptable. I also wish to have a lined item and explanation of all services rendered. The billing statements do not have line items and are obscure.
All other charges beside the INITIAL trip to the hospital, I would not like to have to pay. I will pursue this matter further if no action is taken in a reasonable time frame.
