Review: Myself and my family were interested in living at Rockwood Park Apartments. Before we applied, we were told that each of us on the lease would have to pay a $30 application fee and then it would require $99 to hold an apartment for us, which would be refundable if we did not rent from them, or applied to the deposit. We applied, was told we were accepted, put the $99 down and held the apartment for June 2015. I called Rockwood Apartments the beginning of May to see if we could move the move-in date to July, and was told that they we re-reviewing the application and would need more information from us. Because of the complications and their lack of being able to commit to a move in date (after committing to June previously)we decided to rent from another company. When I asked for the $99 refund, they refused to give it back because I pulled my application. Rockwood then claimed that the policy is to refund the $99 only if the application was declined. I explained that this was not explained to me properly, but they showed no interest in helping. A few days later, I received an email (which I can provide) stating that my application was declined. I called Rockwood back to ask them about the email, and they told me since the application was in review process when I pulled it, it shows as a decline. I then noted that since they officially declined me, I should get my $99 back. They once again refused. This makes two separate times that they didn't follow original policy and they are not following their established business practices and are practicing bad business.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my $99 back, per the original agreement and per the official decline which would fit the supposed policy of Rockwood
