My whole family had a very bad experience with this coI do not recommend this moving co to anyoneStay away and go with anyone elseExp was bad from start to finishI was told that start time was between 9-and they showed up past and I was lied to numerous times that the trucks werent operating that whole day when in fact the drivers stated that they were already exhausted from moving another household all morning longMultiple items were damaged and also my wood railings werent covered and now all scratched up along with huge dents in my walls that Cam said he was going to fix himself and was not taken care ofAnd I asked many times prior to booking if there were any other hidden charges I need to know about and they said no But when the men came to move me that Late afternoon there was almost an extra $additional fee just to get startedIt was outrageous and rude! I have pictures to report also and They ruined my work/desk thats worth $and only reimbursed me $

We confirmed the move and were told we'd receive a call when the movers were on their way and to expect to hear something between 1:00-2:Just after 2, we started making callsIn the four hours that followed, we were told the movers were: Going to be at my place at 4:00; On their way; Delayed because the previous customer had more work than they'd estimated; and Going to give us the "a-team treatment" to make sure that the move gets done quickly and to standard since it was so delayedThe move started at 6:at nightI was told it would be made very easy for me and that all I would have to do when I got to my new house was to direct the guys where to put everythingInstead, I had to assist them by bringing up the entire contents of my basement to the first floor by myselfThey were exhausted and unhappyI'm guessing it was the exhaustion that caused them to forget to finish moving the second floor, because my daughter is sleeping on a mattress on the floor and her bed frame, lamp, and rug are all still at the old apartmentNow I am delayed in turning my keys over, because my items are still in the apartmentAt my new address, very little attempt was made to move boxes anywhere beyond my garageThey are still in the garage nowAt just after 10:00pm, one of the men had a phone to his ear and announced that he estimated the move would be done at 10:This was interesting because Schea promised to put the furniture back together after arrival, and to put all the boxes in their appropriate roomsNone of that was done, in my daughter's case because they hadn't packed her roomThey pulled out of the driveway at 10:and ran into my mailbox on their wayOn top of all of this, Schea has no discernible customer service policy; they are clearly heavy on sales and light on serviceThe woman I had to deal with the most doesn't let you finish a sentence and has very poor communication skillsWe were basically told that they wish we never would have hired them, as though this is all our faultI've never been so stressed with a move, but even more upsetting is feeling totally powerless to do anything about the way this business apparently treats peopleSomething that get really confusing and didn't sit right: we hired "Schea Van Lines" to do our moveWhen we were presented with paperwork, it said "Silverback Movers." The research done prior to hiring the company was on Schea, and we had never heard of SilverbackThe reviews on Silverback much more accurately reflect our experience with this companyI'm still waiting to hear what is going to happen next and whether they're going to do something about the mailbox or left behind itemsI have no idea how, as a single mom, I'm going to manage to go back to the old property and manage all of that while also moving all of the boxes in the garage and taking care of my little girlI feel totally taken advantage of
Update on 6/5/2017- the business address on Campus View Blvd in Columbus returns mail- the Ohio Attorney General sent them a letter based on my complaint and it was returned undeliverableThe business is not registered in the state of Ohio

Schea Van Lines exceeded our expectationsWe needed both moving and storageThey delivered without a hitchThanks guys

I moved on Friday December 8th to a new home and the two movers showed up hours late and smelled of marijuana I had a new sofa and love seat in the basement that they took apart to get up the stairs and the ripped the leather of the seats I've tried contacting the company They've ignored my calls then told me to send pictures No one has tried to call me to see how this can be resolved or anything I've sent the pictures to them already as they requested
