We are in receipt of the Revdex.com’s email of October 27, 2017, regarding complaint #[redacted].  We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this matter.   In this case, the complainant takes issue with his balanced owed to the Veteran’s Administration (VA) in connection with...

his attendance at Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design (the College).    For reference, the complainant ceased actively participating in his courses 4.5 weeks into the 8-week term, or 12.5 weeks into the 16 week semester, and received Failed Non-Attendance (FN) grades for two courses.  For this reason, the College administratively withdrew the complainant and applied its published Refund Policy.  The College does not have record of receiving a formal notice of withdrawal from the complainant.  In addition, the College reported the complainant’s administrative withdrawal to the VA as required pursuant to regulation [redacted] and the VA School Certifying Handbook (SCO).  The College received payments from the VA for the benefit of the complainant in November 2016 and January 2017.  The balance owed by the complainant to the VA is a result of the VA’s rules related to repayment of funds due to any reduction or termination of enrollment after the second day. This was communicated in the College’s email notification to the complainant of his administrative withdrawal due to non-attendance dated February 24, 2017.
