Our garage door expert will be coming out this week and contacting the ***s tomorrow; due to the custom size, width and height and what we agreed on, it has taken longer than we had previously expectedBecause I choose to handle this myself, I recently had an unexpected surgery that unfortunately put me out of commissionAs I was the only one with the knowledge of what we agreed upon, it too, was pushed back

We are currently in the process of going through a legal situation with both , *** *** and *** *** *** ***The legal dispute is a result of, *** *** over billing our company nearly $60,for the roofs his company installed for us in 2017, and *** *** was not
properly crediting our account on our material returns from leftover material on jobsAs a result, liens have been placed on a the customers home from the two companies We have been dealing with the disputes for about two months now and are close to resolving the issues with both parties involvedIt is extremely unfair to the homeowner that a lien has been issued to them, and we are doing everything in our power to eliminate the homeowner from this process and are fighting everyday to get the liens taken off of their propertyUnfortunately legal disputes are a lengthy and time consuming processWith that being said, we are working our way closer to a resolution each and everyday and are doing absolutely all that we can at the moment to remove the liens on the home of *** ***

This may have been a vendor issue, although we have not had a "failure to fit" in nearly a dozen years. The customers bike may have been modified which likely caused the failure to fit; we see this very often. I'd be happy to refund the restocking fee as long as he removes the
star rating on our Google page, and withdraws this complaint.Thank you*** ***He may contact me directly at ***

I am rejecting this response because: I was told that a check would be issued on March 9th and March 30th. However, it's been over a month since the first promise, and the sub contractor's attorney has not received the check. I have been patient, and I've tried to understand that these things take time, however, the mail doesn't take over a month!
Sincerely,

To Whom it may concern;I have enclosed the paperwork for the *** file, including original contracts, invoice and noticeof right to cancel for Wells Fargo, GAF warranty paperwork and a signed certificate ofcompletion. All of our contracts have a day right to rescind, in which neither of the
homeowners rescinded. In regards to the garage door, Mr*** reached out to his salesman and wished to cancel theorder, after the three day right to rescind and after we had ordered the specialty garage door.We expressed to Mr*** that we were not able to cancel this order as it had already beenorderedWe installed the garage door when it came, per the contractural specifications. In reference to the Wells Fargo paperworkThe ***s choose a plan that has 6.9% interest fora month pay off periodClearly stating on the paperwork that they signed, reads that theyhave a special rate of 6.9% for 1/paymentsThe 27.99% is in reference to the No Interest ifPaid in Full plans that we offer, which they did not chooseAll three of these documents wereoriginally signed on 12/29/15, however the contractural information was not put in the correctspot and therefore we had their salesman return to have the homeowners sign them again onthe correctly filled out paperworkTheir finance plan NEVER was changed, only where thepayment and APR is recored on those documents. As soon as the roofing job was completed we filed their warranty information with GAFWe arethe only Triple Excellence award recipient in the State of Idaho from GAFIn order to stay in thehighest ranking with GAF we must maintain strict standards of workmanshipPart of ourcertification with GAF includes random inspections, employee certification within the GAFMaster Elite programAll components placed on the ***s roof is the necessary GAF shinglesand accessories to allow a year non prorated material warranty and a year non proratedworkmanship warrantyMeaning that our work and the materials are backed by GAFThis awardand our Master Elite rating does not come easily.Lastly, we have a signed Completion Certificate by *** ***We have the homeownerssign these certificates to make sure we have fulfilled the contract and that they are satisfiedInthis certificate, plainly stated it reads:DO NOT SIGN this certificate until you are satisfied that the work, equipment ormaterials, as specified in the contract, have been satisfactorily completed. We do understand that when a contract is large, homeowners may have a higher buyersremorse rateWe feel that with our documentation on this job, this dispute stems merely frombuyers remorse.Todd S*Owner

There was a disagreement with the pricing between the sub contractor and Rocky Mountian ExteriorsRocky Mountain Exteriors tried to pay the sub contractor the correct amount for the work performed by the sub contractorThe sub contractor disagreed and placed a lien on the propertyThe issue has
already been legal handled and all fees and costs associated with the liens have been paid in fullA lien release form is expected to be issued to the homeowners any day now, we are just waiting on the attorneys from the sub contractor to issue them out

To whom it may concern,The installer ,(Brandon) for Rocky Mountain Exterior, showed up at our house unannounced Friday the 12th to put the screens inHe stated that he was told that we had requested that he come out to repair some caulking "issues" and fill in the window in the front of the
house, but decided not to come out until the screens were in because he felt it wasn't an emergencyBrandon contracts out for two other companies, not just Rocky Mountain exclusivelyThe screen on the laundry room window that he replaced was a half screen, and he replaced it with another half screenIt was supposed to be a full screen per our contractThe fill in was done poorly, so I contacted Brandon directly that evening, he came back on Monday the 15th and fixed itMonday the15th my husband spoke with Brandon and Steve the project manager, and he requested from Steve that he order a screen locally so it doesn't take another or more weeksToday, Tuesday the 16th Brandon showed up with a full sized screen he made himself from his personal business, placed it, and stated he was going to charge Rocky Mountain Exterior for itSo as far as I am concerned I am happy with the fact that I FINALLY have my screens and the work seems to be complete, but I don't trust that with a lifetime warranty I can trust this company to come fix any problems that might occurIf they had kept communication honest and open I would have remained a happy customerTodd has yet to contact us since he "sealed the deal", and I feel that is unethical, no matter how busy you areThis is your business, you don't treat your customers this way and I see this is a pattern for this man.Sincerely,*** ***

Our garage door expert will be coming out this week and contacting the [redacted]s tomorrow; due to the custom size, width and height and what we agreed on, it has taken longer than we had previously expected. Because I choose to handle this myself, I recently had an unexpected surgery that unfortunately put me out of commission. As I was the only one with the knowledge of what we agreed upon, it too, was pushed back.

We understand your frustration and have been equally frustrated with this process.  We did write the check to [redacted] on 3/28.  We know it has been received because it has cleared our bank.  Today (4/17/18) we received a copy of your Lien Release from [redacted]'s attorney and just forwarded it to you via email, but you will also be receiving a hard copy from them in the mail.   This process can take a few weeks so that is the reason for the delay you are seeing from what we promised and did fulfill, and why it's taking so long for you to see proof on your end.  The process takes time from the receipt of our check to them depositing it, to the funds clearing our bank, to their attorneys then filing the lien release request with the county and it being granted, to the attorneys mailing the release letter to the homeowner.  Billing discrepancies are not uncommon in business, especially when there are lots of moving parts and pieces as in construction trades.  We have enjoyed a good working relationship with [redacted] and were equally surprised and disappointed when they chose to go this route to clear our billing misunderstanding.  Once lawyers get involved things get really complicated.  We are sorry you were caught in the middle and wish you the very best.

Mr. [redacted] purchased his roof and solar tubes with the light kits through our company in August 2017. We installed both the roof and solar tubes on August 10, 2017. The light kit attachments for the solar tube were on back order from the supplier at the time of installation. Mr. [redacted] was informed...

the light kits were on back order, and we would notify him as soon as they were in. The light kits came in after 2 weeks, when we opened the light kits they were not the correct model. Mr. [redacted] was informed that we were sent the wrong light kit and were working on getting the correct ones in. After another few weeks, Mr. [redacted] called and had a leak in his solar tube. We had an installer out to address the issue within an hour of Mr. [redacted]s call. Mr. [redacted] then insisted he no longer would like to wait on the light kits and would like a refund for the light kits. Mr. [redacted] was issued a check for $200 for the light kits. Each light kit was $50, Mr. [redacted] was sent the receipt we had from the light kit order. Mr. [redacted] was convinced that for some reason he was charged a [redacted] fee for the light kits as well. Mr. [redacted] was then shown several other contracts from previous solar tube and light kit jobs our company has done over the last year, to try to show him that he was not charged any [redacted] for the light kits, only the solar tubes. We did not charge for installation of the light kits because usually the light kits are installed with the solar tubes, therefore we do not charge an additional [redacted] fee for any light kits. Mr. [redacted] was issued $200 for his light kit reimbursement, which was the only cost associated with the light kits on Mr. [redacted]s job.

This complaint is ridiculous and unsubstantiated. Our contract was with [redacted] and [redacted]. We addressed any areas that they were concerned with, prior to them selling their house to [redacted] and [redacted]. We have no contractural obligation to [redacted] or [redacted] as there has never been a...

contract between them and us. The previous homeowners did not upgrade any roofing components to qualify for warranties that could have been transferable to [redacted] and [redacted]. A two year workmanship warranty is non transferable and is certainly not available to [redacted] and [redacted]. When we were contacted by [redacted] and [redacted], we inspected the chimney area that they were concerned with and explained any issues they have is from the chimney leaking from the inside or from ice dams the Boise area received this past winter. We suggested that since it was most likely weather related they could file a home owner's insurance claim. We also said we could fix it, but there is no warranty available to them. That's when they became threatening, stating that they would "take us down" because of our not agreeing to fix this for free. Again, we have no obligation to the current homeowners. Neither [redacted] or [redacted] have been kindly to me or our staff whom they've talked to on multiple occasions.

Monday, December 18,2017 to address the attic fan issue.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:My family was very patient through the first few months of this process.  Our first indication that anything was wrong was a letter from [redacted] placing a lien on our property in December 2017.  We were very upset by this incident and reached out to RME to resolve this immediately.  We were assured that it would all be resolved in a few weeks.  The weeks turned into months.  In February we were even more frustrated by the empty promises by the staff at RME that a check would be written, that a settlement was in the works, etc. etc.  In March we finally heard from RME's lawyer that a settlement had been reached and we would have a lien release in hand by the end of the month.  On March 30, 2018 I called to verify with the county clerk, with [redacted]'s lawyer, and with RME that no check had been written.  I spoke with the owner of RME on the phone that day, and he stated that he would issue a check that very day. However, nothing happened, and no check was written.I was very frustrated and angry.  The following week I reached out to [redacted] to verify that no money had been received, and that we were all still waiting.  That's why I finally submitted a complaint with the Revdex.com on 4/4/18.  RME was very deficient in their communication and truthfulness in this process. All I wanted was honesty and resolution.  We got resolution, but the process was full of dishonesty and deceit.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I filed a complaint in March and thought this matter was resolved based on the correspondence between the owner of Rocky Mountain Exteriors and The Revdex.com and unfortunately the owner of the company has not contacted us to install the garage door as promised in his response to the complaint. We have again left several messages on his voicemail and have heard nothing. I want to re-open the complaint so other homeowners will not have to go through what we have. I want what he promised us, the door we paid for and did not get, he came to our home and assured us the door we currently have installed  was in his own words unacceptable and he would replace it. Now as stated above he will not return our calls.Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
We were FULLY aware of the expense of a new garage roof/ garage door and  DO NOT and HAVE never had buyer's remorse but what we did NOT expect was to not get a final inspection of the completed job as written in the contract, which to date, is still in our opinion not done. We still have 2 holes in the roof and the area over our garage is buckling. If the owner of a company never takes the time to check on his employee's work during the process of a job and NEVER returns phone calls to find out what we needed that is poor business ethics. We just want our roof to be fixed buy the company we spent our money and invested our trust to them. On a side note we had another garage door company come out and give us a bid on the garage door supposedly "custom made" for our home and he informed us this came out of a box from a local Boise supplier and that it was NOT custom made. Also to note that the folks that actually installed the garage door said we were being "taken" by Rocky Mountain Exteriors. They had to build a special border around our "custom" door in order to make it fit. It is bare wood that was not even painted and now will rot due to the weather not to mention it looks terrible. If this company would have done what they assured us by doing a final inspection of their services we paid for, we could have pointed out the problems.
As far as the written contract for which yes we did sign, they should, in the future not worry so much about "getting the sale" and explain better the financial aspect to people more thoroughly as well as follow through with their obligation of the contract. We have tried calling the GAFF warranty people and they also do not answer their phones or return our calls. We have since had to refinance our loan in order to not be STUCK with the outrageous interest rate. We want our roof repaired and the garage door frame fixed as well. Before any work was started they would answer their phone and now nobody will return our calls. I will provide photo's of the work still needing to be completed.

Sincerely,[redacted]
