Rocky Mountain Glass & Tint, L.L.C. Reviews (1)

They tinted my windows and did a terrible job. They also broke the trim on my back window but claimed it was broken before he did any work.
In the beginning of August around the 9th, I took my car to Rocky Mountain tint to have the windows tinted on my 1986 Toyota Mr2. I left the car with them for an entire business day and when I went to pick the car up I paid $189 for my rear window, driver, passenger window, and tint on the top of my front windshield. It looked fine at my quick inspection and so I paid them and left. When I got home, upon further inspection, I noticed that they tried to take the trim off of my back window and broke it. So he glued it together and put blue scotch tape on top of the glue. Then around the defroster plug he just cut a big hole and light still gets in through the back window. On the passenger window the tint didn't go all the way to the bottom of the window so that when you roll the window all the way up their is a 1/4 inch gap where light would come in. On the drivers side window the tint at the top of the window wasn't cut straight and left gaps in the tint when you rolled it all the way up. So after noticing this, I went back to the store a couple of days later when I had time off of work and mentioned all of this to them. They said that they were willing to fix the tint job but that they wouldn't replace the trim because that wasn't there fault and that it was broken when I brought it in. It wasn't broken when I brought it in because I've been working on that car and rebuilding it and I know that the trim has six screws that need to be undone on the inside of the vehicle in order to get the trim off. However, when I mentioned the broken trim to him he said it wasn't his fault. So He offered to replace the tint on the front two windows but that it wasn't his fault for the trim and the back window so he wouldn't stand good for it. It was really upsetting to me because he started lying and trying to say that the car is in such poor condition that it was broken before it came in to his shop. So I said that I wanted my money back for the front two windows and then I'll be on my way and not bother with him again. He said no and continued to lie about the trim and the windows so I left.
