Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy has a harsh billing method placed upon its medicaid customers, wherein you sign an agreement stating that if you miss your medicaid paid appointment, you owe them a sum of $out of pocket for your appointment missed This was the first thing that was disturbing about their practice - they charge you for doing nothing So, I had a bill of $to pay, and their collectors were calling to harrass me, so I went in, in person, and paid in cash I asked for a receipt, and the lady was like, you don't need one, we're all squared up! I then mailed a check for $8, the same evening.  There was no appointment that I missed in the time between my last in person, in cash payment on Nov 2 and when they mailed me a bill on Feb 14th, however, they mailed me in February to charge me $58.  That was the whole complaint this entire time - was that I had already paid and been verbally told we were square, and then was charged again.  They had made a mistake and would not admit it.  I am lucky they didn't go for the full $58 they were trying to get, but to be nice, I mailed a check for $8 that day, just to be more than fair to them.  I do remember walking in and handing them $58 cash, on Nov. 2nd. But I am more than happy that they  didn't charge me $50 of it AGAIN.  As anyone could understand, it was most likely an honest mistake between their billing dept. and their office, which are 30 miles apart.  I hope I never hear from them or see anything from them again, and on all of this I was and am being completely honest.  So long as I never hear from them again, never find another bill or piece of mail or letter or document from them in any way shape or form, I will find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
