A meeting has been schedule for Thursday October 8th at pm to review

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was not aware of the Revdex.com response until today On 10-7-we left a message with Rocky Mountain Roofing asking them to cancel the appointment and not show up Due to the situation (home is in contract for sale) we were forced to make other arrangements quickly We signed an agreement with the buyers to provide a credit for repairs needed due to the lack of time and inability to schedule the work with another company and Rocky Mountain Roofers would not agree to make the repairs We do have estimates, a detailed inspection report noting the leaking roof, and credits for the repair work needed I explained this to MrF [redacted] and his employees that we were under contract and there were large implications involved for us They did not take any interest until it was too late and we agreed to a credit or lose our contract We scheduled with them when they called and cancelled because we had been forced into negotiating a repair credit to the buyers Our Bill was for 800$ total of which 500$ was to allotted for repairing the leaking skylight The roof was work was never the problem and it is the skylight that is in need of replacement not the roof It is our opinion that if the current repair works it is very temporary at best We will not know anything until there is a steady rain or possibly snow The entire roof is in great shape as noted by several local roof companies We believe it is fair to expect Rocky Mountain Roofers to refund us for that portion of the repair work that was never needed and now we have credited the buyers for this to be done correctly and or at their own discretion after closing Regards, [redacted]

up.  Due to the situation (home is in contract for sale) we were forced to make other arrangements quickly.  We signed an agreement with the buyers to provide a credit for repairs needed  due to the lack of time and inability to schedule the work with another company and Rocky Mountain Roofers would not agree to make the repairs.   We do have estimates, a detailed inspection report noting the leaking roof, and credits for the repair work needed.  I explained this to Mr. F[redacted] and his employees that we were under contract and there were large implications involved for us.  They did not take any interest until it was too late and we agreed to a credit or lose our contract.  We scheduled with them when they called and cancelled because we had been forced into negotiating a repair credit to the buyers.  Our Bill was for 800$ total of which 500$ was to allotted for repairing the leaking skylight.  The roof was work was never the problem and it is the skylight that is in need of replacement not the roof.  It is our opinion that if the current repair works it is very temporary at best.  We will not know anything until there is a steady rain or possibly snow.  The entire roof is in great shape as noted by several local roof companies.  We believe it is fair to expect Rocky Mountain Roofers to refund us for that portion of the repair work that was never needed and now we have credited the buyers for this to be done correctly and or at their own discretion after closing.
