My husband found a eco diesel that we where wanting to trade our current vehicle off onHe gave the dealership permission to send our credit to *** financial only as they said that was who they wanted to send us toCome to find out they sent our credit out to upwards of credit companiesWhen we went in to sign papers after approval, the payment wasn't where we wanted it to be so we passed on the vehicleJeff the sales manager asked us if they could continue working to find something that would better fit usWe agreedOver the next month we continued to receive credit notices via mail and discovered they had ran our credit again, without permission on a completely separate truck that we hadn't even seen or been asked aboutI called him and asked what was going on and to find out because I was very upset about thisAfter trying to reach him for two days, he finally called back and proceeded to tell me that in giving him permission to continue looking for us, that gav

ourselves on making sure our customer’s experience exceeds what has come to be known as the typical car buying experience We do not take these complaints lightly and appreciate the opportunity to respondWhen we are asked to seek an approval for a customer we look at several factors In the case of this complainant the goal was to trade them out of a vehicle and get them into a vehicle which would better suit their needs for travel and to accommodate their family The customer owed far more on the trade vehicle than the market value Not all banks can accommodate negative trade equities of this amount It is up to us to determine which approval to seek for the good of our customers We received an approval for this customer and called them in to review and sign final paperwork The customers were not happy with the payment we provided The husband and I were able to discuss the differences in calculations and came to an understanding He was able to grasp the idea of the car deal I had presented The wife was combative, rude and not willing to listen to any sort of explanation at the time In their calculations they had neglected to add in the amount required to pay off the trade vehicle and did not agree with our numbers.After discussing the payment that would not work, I asked if we could continue working on finding them a less expensive vehicle that would meet all the requirements they needed, as well as carry the financial requirements needed They agreed and left for the evening Our finance department worked for the next days on their deal and did not pursue a solution after that We did try to get an approval to work on a *** If we could have made the approval fit their needs we would have contacted them to look at the vehicle If that vehicle did not suit them, we would have then tried to find an additional vehicle for themMy next contact with the wife was when she called my office in regards to this complaint She was very angry and I listened to her concerns I told her at the time I would look into it and get back with her I was not available for the next days but called her back as soon as I was She voiced her concerns and I listened No response I could have provided at the time would have calmed her down I understand her frustration and possible embarrassment for not understanding their situation, but I was not going to be sworn at and insulted She ended our call shortly after I stated thisWe have listened and taken the complaint into consideration and will evaluate our procedures to see if changes are needed to avoid this misunderstanding from happening in the future.Sincerely,Jeffrey DS***Rocky Mountain Yeti EvanstonFinance Manager***

I am rejecting this response because:There was absolutely no embarrassment involved here, we have nothing to be embarrassed aboutYes, we are very upside down in our vehicle and your salesman knew thisAs stated before, you where given permission to run our credit threw one bankOne bank only and if there wasn’t an approval you should have informed my husband or myself and asked for permission to run it threw more, instead of taking it upon yourself to make that decisionWe where approved for the loan and my husband was told That the amount was going to work out A certain way and it didn’tThe sales manager even called him the next day to apologize for confusing him with the numbersI was not rude in your office, I have purchased several cars and never once have I walked into an office that already had all of the paperwork done, a temp plate on the vehicle and high pressure tactics to just sign and leave without going over the brass tacksWith that being said you never once received our permission to run another vehicleAs I have said to you previously, you took advantage of a statement that was meant as sure go ahead and look at what you have and then call meNot run my credit again before I even know If I like the vehicleYou’re high pressure environment is out of control and you took extreme advantage of my husband thinking he is NaïveUnfortunately for you I am not and you can try to spin this off on me by making yourself look the victim because I am upset for being taken advantage of but this is most definitely not the truthI really hope that you re evaluate your sales tactics and quit the high pressure environmentAs for us we will never step foot in any of the yeti establishments again.
