To Whom It May Concern,I recently received a complaint from a customer ID # [redacted] and I would like to address her grievancesShe brought the items in question to me on January 29, The customer brought five (5) pairs of slacks for alterations, not seven (7) as she stated in her complaint She requested that each pair be hemmedThe total amount paid was $80, not $as she statedThe charge was $per pairShe returned to my store to let me know that the pants were very tight in the leg and were uncomfortableI explained that I did nothing to adjust the width of the legs and only shortened the length as she requested.The pants were not cleaned, because she did not request that they be cleaned, and were new as she stated in her complaintIf they had been cleaned, the cost to clean each pair would have been $6, thus bringing her total to $I may have raised my voice but I stand behind my work and will not passively listen to insults and accusationsI have built a reputation in Pittsburgh and am proud of itShe told me that the hem was a little short and I told her that I would gladly adjust that for her since that was what she had requested initiallyShe is seeking a refund for the cost of the alterations and the cost of the items without a receipt and without just causeI have been in business for over years and from time to time, a customer may take issue with my policies or try to get something for nothingHowever, no one stays in business for over years without providing quality workmanship at a fair priceI have attached her invoice as proof of my contentions.Thank you,Rocky's Tailor Shop

Review: I brought several pairs of pants (7) to Rocky's to be hemmed. When I picked them up I wore a pair to work the next day and noticed they had shrunk significantly. Every one of these pairs had been worn several times before this and felt very comfortable. The hem line was a bit short, but that was fine and if that was the only concern I simply would take them back to let the hem out. However, I could not even sit down in these pants without feeling like I would burst a seam. Now, my other pants all fit exactly the same and I even weighed myself - I actually was down a few pounds. I tried another pair on a different day and had to have my boyfriend bring me a different pair of pants to work because I was so uncomfortable.

I brought this to the attention of the store, they denied this even being possible and I am the only person to have ever complained. The owner yelled at me for about 20 minutes when I stated my concerns, I actually had to ask him to calm down and lower his voice so we could discuss this. He told me over and over this was completely impossible and there was nothing he could do. The whole thing was completely unprofessional and flat out rude.

I am not out 7 pairs of dress pants.Desired Settlement: The pants were about $40 a piece and the hemming bill from Rocky's was $85.

I would really love a refund for all of this because the pants had just been purchased for a new job, and were in very new and good condition - they now are useless for me.
