This company is insisting that I pay them for services they did not perform on my lawn. Nor have they acknowledged or credited to me the amount that I already paid them for their first service. I have written and mailed a certified letter to the company address, including a check for the one additional service I owed them for, but that letter was returned to me as undeliverable and unforwardable. I have responded to their texts and phone calls with a request for a reliable address to which I can send my letter, giving the timeline of the actual services, along with my check, but these requests have been ignored; only the address on *** has been given to me.

Essentially, the company is charging me for 4 lawn services (totalling $160) , only 2 of which were performed. The first check for the full $40 of one of these services has been cashed but not subtracted from the alleged $160 balance. The letter which could not be delivered contained a check for $40; the other 2 services, for which they say I owe $80, were not performed. My letter to them explains this, but it is not deliverable.

Yesterday I was threatened with Small Claims Court if I did not get in touch with the owner, ***. He threatened to levy an additional $250 fine. I phoned back and left the message that I disputed his charges and that I needed an address to which I could send my letter and $40 payment. That address has not been forthcoming. Neither have I received the promised documentation of their services on my property. I doubt that any exists, given that I received a text billing me for a service that I knew was not performed, since I was home at the time!

The company set up a portal for payment, which I cannot access. Nor is there an account payment link on their website. In fact, their website is now inaccessible. I have tried repeatedly and unsuccessfully to make my case with this company, and to pay what I owe, but they have not cooperated. I consider that they are now harassing me.

Ms. is a disgruntled former customer of Rockytop Property Maintenance. I inherited Ms *** from another lawn service in South Bend that no longer wished to be in the mowing business in August, 2018. Our first visit to the property involved an angry hornet's nest that stung both me and my employee multiple times. I informed Ms *** of the nest and she told me she would get it handled. We went back the next week, at our expense, only to find the nest still existed. We did not charge her for this visit. A couple of weeks later, after not being notified one way or the other, we checked the property again and the nest had been removed. My company then went and serviced the property (4) more times week after week. We were only paid for the original mowing. Our software monitors the dates and times we come to a property and we take before and after pictures each time we are on the property. We have all of these and have offered to email them to Ms *** numerous times without a response. Ms *** refused to provide an email address to send the photos to. She was texted an emailed after each service and never received any kind of response to her. My software shows when the emails and texts were delivered.

At one point, I had the previous services owner come to my house and look at all of the pictures. He stated he had a really good relationship with Ms *** and could call her on my behalf to sort the situation out. He also asked *** to text me her email address so I could send all of the evidence of our services to her. She, once again, refused to contact me. I texted *** to let her know I'd be happy to send the evidence of our service and received, once again, no response. I then texted *** to inform her of my intention to take her to small claims court for restitution and, voila, she found the time to respond with a nasty text . *** uses "google phone service", which I had never heard of. I would have no idea of this unless I tried to contact her on her phone!

In closing, Ms *** used my service, never had to mow her grass from August through the end of the mowing season in 2018, and now refuses to pay for the service we provided. I refuse to allow customers to take advantage of my company in this way so I intend on bringing her to small claims court to remedy the situation. Because she is aware of this, the best way in her opinion to get back at me was to file a Revdex.com complaint. I trust that this explanation shows a prospective customer of my diligence not only in providing a quality service, but also my willingness to work with customers to come to an agreement.
